Hair breakage occurs due to a variety of reasons, some of the reasons are just the way we treat our hair daily. Hair is delicate and needs good care, consistent and natural hair damage comes the way we use our hair.

The best way to conserve hair is to tie it out of the way after giving it a good comb, but that is so impractical, as we get more and more fashion conscious, the first thing we treat is our hair. There are a number of products which we use daily to treat hair and not all protect our hair.

Here are some tips how you can take care of hair and minimize the damage:

1) After hair bath try not to use comb directly, even if you use conditioning and anti tangle potions, you should firstly run your fingers through your hair to ensure that your hair is not subjected to jerks and pulls that may result if you directly use the comb.

2) Try to tie your hair each time you are not going out, market today offers variety of hair clips, that do not break or damage hair,

3) Though you tie your hair ensure that you do not pull it back tightly, this will result in hair loss from the front, and your forehead will look larger as time passes by resulting in complete alteration of appearance.

4) Try not to use hair dyes often, use only the ones which are from companies that are known for their quality and use of ingredients that are least likely to harm your hair, use of hair products will dry your hair initially and make them brittle, minimize hair breakage.

5) Make sure you visit your hair dresser/stylist to ask him about your hair type and products you can use to massage your scalp with, this should give hair roots good toning up. Massage with good oils, will also restore your hair’s lost moisture and nutrition, thus ensuring a longer life for your hair.

6) Minimize the use of hair dryer, try not using it directly on the scalp, instead use it only on the hair, do not use it on very wet hair, use a thick towel, soak all water and let your hair be semi dry before you use the hair dryer.

7) Using hot hair clamps will damage your hair, your hair will end up with split ends and a dull look, try to maintain hair style, that will require least of products that are most likely to damage hair.

Most importantly, make sure after you use shampoos and conditioners, provide 2 more minutes after the normal rinse to rinse a bit more, shampoo and conditioner residue too, can harm your hair.

Some of the “legends” I have heard over the years about female hair loss are : Wigs and hats may cause female hair loss, Female hair loss indicates an energetic brain, A frequently washing of the hair or over brushing or combing it may cause hair loss and hair shaving will make the hair re grow thicker.

Female hair loss most popular type is the female pattern hair loss. It is a hereditary type which might be inherited from each of the parents. To make things simple, the cause of the female pattern hair loss is a chemical called DHT.

The female pattern hair loss usually becomes stronger at the age of menopause. It’s symptoms are thinning of the hair over the sides and the top of the head.

There are 4 available products to treat female hair loss:

1. Medical treatments like Rogaine. Rogaine is one of only two FDA approved hair loss treatments and it remains the only one approved for use by women. Rogaine or minoxidil also helps high blood pressure.

Rogaine works on about 50% of female hair loss cases but not always with the same efficiency. It comes as a lotion that you have to put on your scalp.

2. Wigs or hair thickeners – theses cosmetic female hair loss products may help you save a lot of time, money and discomfort using other kinds of products.

However, many women feel insecure and in natural with the cosmetic female hair loss products. Do not be afraid to change styles and products until you are satisfied.

3. The last and least recommended female hair loss treatment is a hair transplantation surgery. Although there has been a significant improvement with the outcomes of those surgeries a severe risk still exists.

The principle of the hair transplant is transplanting hair follicles from the body ( the back of the head for example) on the scalp. It is a pain full long process.

In some cases, female hair loss can be a mental symptom. Therefore, it is advised to wait a while before using any of the female hair loss products mentioned above.

We executed an independent research to find the best hair loss treatments. Find the results on the best hair loss products – Leandernet

Hair loss is a condition that affects both sexes. Although to a lesser degree compared to males, females also experience hair loss. In fact, it has been found that hair loss in females is more widespread than was previously believed with over 25 million Americans suffering the symptoms and effects of hair loss and the stress it causes. The emotional and psychological effects of hair loss are also far greater in women than in men since hair is considered an essential part of an attractive and positive image.

One of the causes of female hair loss is not really hereditary genes but the temporary problems in metabolism that commonly accompanies conditions such as pregnancy, stress, medications, anorexia, surgery, infection and other serious medical problems. Taking certain drugs will also negatively affect hair with effects ranging from dryness and brittleness to falling hair. Meanwhile, female pattern baldness results in considerable thinning of the hair, though not in a degree more commonly seen in males. Another cause of hair loss in women is the declining level of estrogen.

Like in men, effectively treating hair loss in women starts with determining the cause. Usually, if the hair loss is caused by a temporary medical problem such as those cited earlier, the symptoms will simply stop as soon as the cause ends. Other treatment of hair loss in women includes medications such as Finasteride, which is in tablet form and works by blocking the circulation of androgen. Minoxidil is also one of the most common prescription hair loss medications available.

There are also a variety of new medications that are introduced to the market. Hair transplantation, a surgical operation still remains as the most effective way to treat serious hair loss and with natural-looking results. Researchers and doctors are also continuously searching for new drugs or techniques to help prevent and treat hair loss in women.

Female pattern baldness is also called Alopecia. Thinning hair in women does occur differently in women than it does in men. There are many causes of female hair loss not the least of which is stress. Did you know hair grows in three stages? Causes of female hair problems vary. If you are experiencing hair consultation with your doctor can help determine this and then the most appropriate treatment can be decided.

About Hair Growth

Hair grows in stages. The Anagen stage is the growth stage that can last anywhere from two to six years. It then enters into the Catagen stage that is also known as the transition stage can last for up to two weeks. The Telogen stage is the resting stage and can last up to five to six weeks. The goal of any treatment is to restore the hair to the growth stage and to lengthen the growth period to allow more healthy hair to grow.

Female Hair baldness

Female hair problems occurs differently in women than in men. You may notice a few more hairs on your brush, on your pillow, or in your comb. Over-all thinning of your hair may occur. You may notice thinning or balding in the area where you part your hair. This is the most common way women experience hair problems.

Causes of Female Hair ailments

Female loss of hair basically falls into four categories. They are listed and described below. You will also be provided with information regarding the causes within each of these categories.

Andogenetic (Andogenic) Alopecia is an over-all thinning over the entire scalp. Causes of this type of hair fall out include the effects of hormones, ovarian cysts, high androgen birth control, pregnancy, and menopause. As women age their hormone levels drop especially during and after menopause. Male hormones that exist in minimal amounts then can actually have more of an effect without increasing. The male hormone called testosterone is present in higher levels in men who have pattern baldness. Men, whose hormone levels are low will, most likely not have hair loss.

Telogen Effluvium is what happens when you have gone through some trauma including child birth, serious injury, surgery, malnutrition, or extreme stress. Close to 90% of hairs that are in the Anagen (growth) or the resting stage which some call the Catagen stage can switch over to Telogen Effluvium. If severe stresses can be avoided this hair loss can go into remission.

Anagen Effluvium occurs after any injury to the hair follicles where the miotic or metabolic activity is impaired. Chemotherapy may cause about 90% of the hairs can fall out if your hair is in the anagen stage. The hair in Anagen Effluvium has a tapered fracture of the hair shaft which makes it narrow. The hairs will then break at the most narrow point and break off causing hair to fall out.

Traction Alopecia is caused by direct trauma to the hair follicles also called local injury. This can occur from tight hairstyles such as tight ponytails, extensions, braids, and corn rows. It pulls the hair too tight causing breakage and hair fall out.

Conclusion

Causes of female hair ailments can include hormonal effects. The use of birth control, pregnancy, childbirth, and menopause are the most common culprits. DHT a male hormone may also affect be one of many other causes of female hair baldness.

Illness, injury, extreme stresses may also be causes of female hair to drop out. There is a variety of treatments that are very effective. For those wanting to avoid the possible side effects of traditional treatments there are natural treatments available.

The product we personally use for hair loss is known as Provillus. We have been using this natural supplement for over 2 years with excellent results. To learn about our hair loss product of choice, be sure to check out our provillus review

Hair loss usually occurs because of hormonal factors. As a consequence, biological events like puberty, pregnancy and menopause that effect female hormone levels can also cause female hair loss. In the case of pregnancy, hair loss is simply a consequence of the stress the body undergoes during labor and should stop approximately 6 months after birth. Discontinuation of taking birth control pills can also cause temporary female hair loss.

The most common type of female hair loss is androgenetic alopecia or female-pattern baldness. This type of hair loss is associated with hair thinning predominantly over the sides and top of the head. Female hair loss affects about one-third of all susceptible women and usually onsets after menopause although it can begin earlier.

Other causes of female hair loss include dieting. Rapid weight loss over a short period of time promotes hair loss and some supplements such as excessive vitamin A also contribute to hair loss. Physical and emotional stress can cause hair loss but this usually only occurs when the trauma is excessive and of a long duration. Everyday stress does not promote hair loss.

Some common myths related to female hair loss are that frequent washing and shampooing, and wearing of wigs and hats all cause hair loss. In addition, rumors abound that permanents, coloring, and other cosmetic treatments can cause permanent hair loss. Other myths are that brushing your hair everyday will create healthier hair, that shaving your head will cause hair to grow back thicker, and that stress causes permanent hair loss. Finally, other myths are that there is a cure for female-pattern baldness and that dandruff causes permanent hair loss.

These are just a few common myths associated with female hair loss. If you experience excessive hair loss, you should see a licensed dermatologist for a thorough diagnosis and treatment options.

It is noteworthy that Chinese angelica, which is one of the main ingredients of this Female-used Evergreen hair regenerator, is widely used in traditional Chinese gynecology as a medicine for curing diseases and a tonic for improving health. Its extract has the additional advantage of being able to penetrate easily through the skin and, for this reason, is employed very often as a transdermal passage promoter.

In our case, the extract of Chinese angelica carries with it the extracts of the other ingredients to pass through the skin smoothly so as to reach the hair follicles that need regeneration and to pervade together with the other ingredients the environment of hair follicles inside the scalp and provide them with added nutrients. Of these other ingredients, special mention must be made of the tuber of multiflower knotweed, which is reputed to possess a wonderful power of enabling hair to regrow. It has the popular nickname of Blackhead. This nickname came from a folk story, which runs as follows:

Many years ago an old man was stranded on a desolate island as a result of shipwreck. He had to live in a cave and depend on the tuber of multiflower knotweed as his staple food for more than ten years. Fortunately, a ship sailed by and noticed his signal for help. He was saved and carried back to his native village. His fellow villagers were surprised to find that his white hair had turned black. He attributed this change to the tuber of that herb on which he had subsisted.

As no one ever made any experiment to test the truth of the story by subsisting on the tuber for ten years, what the old man related to the villagers remains a folk story. However, the nickname that has been given to the herb shows that Chinese people believe that the herb has the ability of rehabilitating hair. Our female customer does not need to depend on Evergreen hair regenerator long. It will take her only one month or three months at most to see her beautiful hair growing gracefully again.

Like many men, a great percentage of women are also seeking for female hair loss treatment. This can even be more worrying if it happens in women. Balding in women or female pattern baldness (FPB) may not be a common aging problem for women. Female pattern baldness (FPB) is more apparent in women who are in their menopause stage. Some women even experience thinning hair at an earlier age, after birth deliveries have occurred.

Natural Treatments

There are a number of natural female baldness treatments that may help in regrowing and revitalizing the hair follicles.

    * Aromatherapy uses essential natural oils that help in controlling hair loss. It is a proven cure. With the proper blend of cedar wood, lavender, thyme, and rosemary essential oils mixed with jojoba oil and grape seed oil applied topically on the scalp produce promising results. Massaging the scalp with these potent oils stimulates hair follicles. Not only does it work on the prevention and control of hair loss but it also works on other bodily aspects as it works in harmony with the body’s natural healing system.
* Homeopathy helps in stimulating the natural hormonal balance that is aimed at improving the woman’s well being. Homeopathic treatment is usually the holistic way of treating menopause, and it is also a natural baldness treatment. It goes with providing men and women with a healthy living mentally, physically, and emotionally.
* Reflexology and acupuncture is another natural cure. It battles stress, which is one cause of hair thinning and hair loss. With reflexology and acupuncture, the body is relaxed thereby controlling hair thinning factors.

A Breakthrough In Female Hair Loss Treatments

Another natural treatment, that was recently introduced in the market, is now delivering hope for women who are losing their lovely hair locks either from pregnancy or menopause. It has botanical blends that provide nourishment not just for the hair but also for the nails and skin. Hair will never go bald nor should it start thinning out because this miracle product is the first balding treatment for women that treats this condition naturally.

The author has struggled with hair loss for years, trying one product after another to figure out how to prevent hair loss, till he came across this breakthrough hair growth product that stopped his hair fall, and also has a variant for female hair loss treatment. Each hair loss treatment deals with thinning hair in different ways. By examining these techniques closely, women can determine which one is the right solution for them.

Topical Solutions as a Female Hair Loss Treatment

A popular brand of Minoxidil, Rogaine is an effective method of hair restoration for many women living with female hair loss. Rogaine is easy to use and is often one of the first solutions recommended for women with a family history of thinning hair. For optimum hair restoration, the lotion should be applied to the affected regions of the scalp twice daily.

Unfortunately, Rogaine is not an instant cure. In fact, it can take up to four months for the appearance of soft new hairs. This hair restoration product also carries very few risks so long as it is not used on broken skin. It is almost impossible to overdose on this medication and common side effects such as headaches, itching, and allergic reactions are rare.

Synthetic and 100% Human Hair Extensions

Synthetic hair extensions are a relatively easy way to treat female hair loss. An economical solution, this hair replacement method looks natural and requires less styling and maintenance than 100% human hair extensions. This hair restoration method lasts for a period of up to three months making it easy to use a different treatment later on. On the down side, heat and styling products such as coloring and perms can seriously damage the extensions.

When looking for hair replacement methods, many women prefer the look and feel of 100% human hair extensions because this type of hair addition can be treated the same as naturally grown hair. It can be styled, washed and colored like normal and there are no limitations on activities such as swimming. Although this female hair loss treatment carries a higher cost, 100% human hair extensions last a great deal longer than synthetic varieties.

Wigs and Other Hair Pieces

Women often use wigs as a quick and easy way to cure severe female hair loss. These pieces can be easily purchased, however quality is the key to finding one that appears natural. In order to be a quality hairpiece, it needs to look natural and last for a long time without looking worn out or tired. Look for one that has a well constructed backing. This prevents the hairs from falling out and gives the hairpiece a natural looking hairline. In order to effectively hide female hair loss, the hair in the wig should also behave just like naturally grown hair.

Laser Hair Loss Treatment

Low Level Laser Light Therapy (LLLT) is also an effective method for treating female hair loss. Lasers increase the level of blood flow to the scalp by passing a particular wavelength of light across the scalp without harming the skin. The added blood flow allows more nutrients, balances hair oil, which in turn improves hair quality and production. This hair loss treatment is quickly becoming one of the most popular methods of non surgical hair replacement because of its high rate of success.

Today, there is no need to suffer in silence with thinning hair. Hair restoration treatments work for everything from mild hair thinning to total hair loss. By consulting with a professional, finding the right treatment for female hair loss is possible.

One of the things that can truly devastate the life of a woman is female hair loss. That is no joke and since women value their crowning glory, they are bound to do everything just to keep a healthy and beautiful hair.

Hair loss among men is an ordinary story but in case you don’t know it is also a widespread problem for women. However, women are not as vocal as men in expressing their concerns.

In order to prevent the condition occurring, you must be able to understand its causes. Often the problem is attributed to many things. Try to observe your hair and check if it’s getting thin or maybe you’re losing hair in some spots of the scalp. Once you perceive that something is wrong with your hair, consult a doctor, dermatologist, or a hair specialist.

The most common cause is the disturbance of hormones in the body. Every time your body stops or slows down, the hormone production undergoes some changes and it can affect the growth of your hair.

Here are some of the causes of hair loss among women:

1. Menopause

Menopause is part of growing old and when a woman enters this period, the hormone production slows down. Since the level of hormones are reduced, about 2/3 women on their post-menopausal stage often find themselves having bald spots. The best treatment preferred by most women is the hormone replacement therapy.

Before the menopausal stage, high levels of estrogen are produced inside a woman’s body. Aside from estrogen, the body also produces testosterone. The estrogen serves as a barrier that protects the testosterone hormones from being converted. But since menopause can’t be stopped as it is a natural occurrence, estrogen production is slowed down until it finally stops. Testosterone will then combine with bodily enzymes and alpha reductase. The result is the production of DHT which is said to be primarily responsible for hair loss.

2. Hysterectomy

Even if a woman undergoes a hysterectomy, the production of hormones is still affected and the woman will experience the symptoms associated with menopause. But if you choose the full hysterectomy, there is a great chance that you will suffer from hair loss.

3. Pregnancy

When a woman is pregnant, a lot of bodily changes take place. You will eventually notice that your hair is falling or thinning but there have also been ironical cases wherein the individual’s hair thickens. Those that have straight hair may suddenly find that it now curls and vice versa. You must see to it that you are getting all the needed nutrients; that is the reason why you need to take vitamins when pregnant.

Aside from menopause, hysterectomy, and pregnancy, the problem can also be caused by genetics. Pattern baldness has a lot to do with this and it will run in the family. Another factor that contributes to this is your diet. You must eat the right kinds of food in their proper amounts to keep your body and hair healthy. Frequent styling can also lead to hair loss also try to minimize colouring, highlighting, or bleaching.

There is a wide range of female hair loss products offered in the market. Ask your doctor which ones you can use. Don’t take hair loss problem lightly; act on it now.

I often write about female hair loss and have experienced it myself. Yesterday, I received an email wanting more information about saw palmetto as a treatment for female or women’s hair loss. The reader wanted to know if this was an effective remedy that could help with her shedding. The answer to this question could be yes, but it depends upon what type of hair loss she’s experiencing. I’ll explain why in the following article.

Saw Palmetto And Androgen Driven Hair Loss In Women: Saw palmetto is an herbal supplement that is often called things like “the herbal propecia.” These types of treatments (propecia, adovart, etc.) were initially used by men as anti androgens as a remedy for prostrate issues. Eventually, a correlation was established between these prostrate treatments and an improvement in hair retention.

It makes sense then that women with androgen related hair loss (AGA or shedding caused by DHT) would want to try these treatments. However, women should not these anti androgen drugs because doing so could harm an unborn fetus should that woman become pregnant. So, many women will look to herbs that are believed to lower androgens (like saw palmetto) as a safer alternative.

But, here’s the thing. This treatment does help some women - but only those who absolutely have androgen type hair loss with no other underlying cause. And, this should be used under the supervision of your doctor. This type of loss often presents a distinct pattern. You’ll often see much more loss on the top and at the part line, temples, and crown rather than more diffuse loss.

However, if your loss or shedding is caused by other issues (hormones shifting or changing, going on and off birth control pills or other medications, medical issues, etc.) it’s highly likely that what you have is telogen effluvium which should be treated differently than AGA. In fact, many women in this situation find that altering their hormones (which is the case with using anti androgens) actually makes the shedding worse and could potentially kick off a whole new round of TE.

As you may have guessed, I tried this regimen with high hopes only to kick off a whole new nightmarish shedding episode that I had to wait out all over again. I’m not a doctor, but I’ve experienced this myself and have done tons of research. It is my sincere opinion that it’s always best to start with the least invasive treatment and then work up from there. You can always become more aggressive if you need to, but the invasive and aggressive treatments can backfire in a big way.

In short, saw palmetto can be effective in female hair loss, but only in cases where androgens are without a doubt the problem. (Your doctor can help you determine this through blood work.)

How do I know all of this? Because I lived it. In my quest to end my hair loss, I looked at my triggers, my iron, my thyroid, my adrenals, my hormones, and my scalp’s health in my quest to end the nightmare. It was a long, hard, frustrating journey which all but wrecked my self esteem but I finally found something that helped quite a bit.

You may or you may not have a good female hair loss treatment solution. The problem is finding out if the product you are using for your hair condition is not just taking advantage of you. The key is to evaluate a product properly before using it on yourself. Fortunately, there are a couple of guiding points you can use to determine if a product is any good.

Reputation

Find out how well a product sits with consumers and users. You can easily do this by searching for and reading reviews of products. Be careful though, not every product review online is independent or real. Some are written by ghost writers or affiliates who may not have tried using the products themselves. There are however, a couple of independent review sites that post actual consumer feedback. Reading a couple of bad reviews along with some good ones will give you a more balanced idea of a product’s merits.

Consumers may also post reviews about more than just the product qualities. Some may also provide feedback on fake money back guarantees advertised by manufacturers. The mere fact that a product’s “no questions asked money back guarantee” is not easy to obtain may say a lot about a product and its manufacturers.

Website Data

Before considering a female hair loss treatment product, you should have at least researched about hair loss in general. This will arm you with the necessary information to check if a product page is in line with the most recent medical research about female pattern balding.

Read every page of a product site. Find out what ingredients a product carries, how it says it can solve your problem and what it says about hair fall in women. If some points do not tally with your sound research, you should become at least a little wary.

Customer Service

Quality customer service is one other clue that a product is what it says it is. Manufacturers who make rip-offs sometimes do not maintain a real customer service team. Try using the contact information provided to see if you are able to connect with real people. You can even ask a few questions to check if the person on the other end knows diddlysquat about the product in question.

A good female hair loss treatment is not always easy to come by. With a little vigilance and smart evaluation though, you may be able to find some real product gems in all the muck.

There is not a day that goes by that I am not talking with or listening to women that are asking about how to repair their hair. Often even the most intelligent women think it is the bottle or tube of hair color that is the culprit.

It is my professional promise that it is not the hair color bottle or tube of color that breaks off the hair.

I know some women will still think it is the company but, if you think just for a moment common sense will tell you that the legitimate companies that produce hair color products year after year would never produce inferior product. If we did we would have a million lawsuits a week which would remove us from the market place. If this happened we would start to notice a whole lot of gray hair. So the damage and breakage must come from miss use of product, improper application or improper hair care, or all of the above.

Let’s look at some of the real causes of hair damage and breakage.

Improper Product Formulation

Often when someone wants their hair to be an ultra light blonde, the hairdresser will use a very high volume of peroxide. When this is added to the oil bleach for the root or highlighting bleach you can almost be certain the hair will become damaged or even break off. If this is continued over time the hair is certain to break off even if you are using the best of hair care product.

Improper Application

When a hair color application is overlapped or allowed to seep into the previously color treated hair the hair is being over processed. When the hair is over processed, it will dry out and could even break off if the application is either a bleach, or a high lift tint. If this is repeated month after month the hair is in big trouble. Some of you maybe living with this problem as you read this.

Improper Hair Care

You must handle your color treated hair with the utmost of care. This is often very simple. To start, don’t use elastic hair bands, unless they are cloth covered. Don’t use metal clips or hard plastic combs to hold your hair in place. These all will cut into the hair and cause color treated and even normal healthy hair to break off. If you take your mirror and look at the place where these items were holding, you can see a line that the clips and bands have left. This type of stress is just too great for fragile hair.

You also need to watch the pony tails, especially when you’re sleeping. The pressure from the pulling back causes the hair to weaken at the hair line and often shred where the band is holding the hair in place.

Oh, I almost forgot, if your hair is weak from chemicals don’t tease or backcomb you hair until it’s stronger.

The saddest conclusion to this problem is that there is not one hair care product on the market that will stop breakage once it starts. Because hair care products only help the hair look better, they don’t put hair back on the head.

The good news is that you have complete control of who you choose to do your hair color and have the choice to reselect someone else if you are not getting perfect hair color every time you have a service. The very best colorist is just a phone call away.

Last Word

If you color your hair at home and you start to see damage from hair color, go to the salon for awhile until your hair is stronger, or start using a semi-permanent colorant for awhile.

For decades, creating a beautiful African American crown of glory has been seen as some kind of misnomer. How can one unlock the secrets of long Black hair? How can one experience ultra black hair growth? The list goes on and on. Growing black hair is not hard. Black hair can and does grow. Yet, certain styling techniques and products are needed to cause more fragile African American hair to grow.

Rule #1: Employ the Right Shampooing and Conditioning Techniques

1) Use the right products. Do not use shampoos with sulfates or silicones. Although some Black women can experience hair growth no matter what product they use, 90% of black women (and men) have drier hair that requires all that natural oils it can get. Shampoos that contain sulfates, any derivative, glycols, and silicones (any ingredient that ends in CONE), take moisture away from black hair. This facilitates hair breakage, brittleness, and dryness. It can also create scalp conditions for some people. Beauty 4 Ashes A Double Portion Super Gro Shampoo is an excellent choice for curly textured, African American hair. It is all natural and contains natural and essential oils to stimulate Black hair growth. Plus, black hair needs oils anyway. While working in the hair care industry, I noticed many hair regeneration specialists who use the A Double Portion products and had results with their African American clients. You can find Beauty 4 Ashes products in certain salons, at their website (wwwdiscoverb4acom), or even on Ebay.

2) Shampoo your hair weekly. I know many African Americans shampoo their hair a lot less than once a week; however, to keep the hair follicles opened, stimulate blood circulation to the scalp, facilitate growth…and reduce hair build-up, scalp conditions, and germs…African American should wash their hair once a week. Men can wash more often. If you are using the right shampoo, you will not strip your hair of the natural oils it needs to grow and thrive.

3) Condition your African American hair.
To grow black hair, you must give it moisture. Without moisture, it cannot thrive. Aubrey Organics GPB Protein Conditioner (wwwaubreyorganicscom) and Beauty 4 Ashes Super Gro Conditioner (wwwdiscoverb4acom) are excellent for increasing Black Hair Growth, maintaining hair moisture and restoring strength and shine. Plus, Beauty 4 Ashes Super Gro Conditioner actually contains over 15 ingredients that stimulate hair growth. Both products are all natural and should be used at least weekly.

Rule #2: Watch How You Comb Your Hair: No No’s For Black Hair Growth

1) Combing Your Hair. I know many African Americans grew up brushing their hair; however, brushes, even plastic ones and ones made from boar bristles, can rip the hair, cause stress, and cause breakage. Thus, brushes are a no-no for longer, Black Hair. Instead, buy a large tooth comb with no ridges between each individual comb. Goody usually makes quality hair combs for Black hair. Do not use fine tooth comb.

2) Ripping Out Your Hair Growth.
Watch Your Hands and Your Hair Dressers. Comb your hair from the bottom up, especially after shampoos. This will avoid tangles. Section your hair to comb it out and always apply some form of moisture to your hair before combing it. You don’t need a heavy cream. In fact, you should avoid mineral oil or petroleum based greases or hair lotions. But, use something similar to Carol’s Daughter’s hair milk (wwwcarolsdaughter) or Beauty 4 Ashes GodHead Follicle Fuze Hair Butters and Puritea Tea-Rific 10 Hair Lotion (wwwdiscoverb4acom). When at the salon, tell your hairdressers to not pull your hair or comb it from the top down. This will cause more breakage.

3) Moisturize your scalp with light hair oils and butters, not greases. Try olive oil, jojoba oil, or almond oil.

Rule # 3: Lay Off the Chemicals and Heat.

1) While blow drying makes African American hair easier to comb and style, try to limit it to once a month. Braiding your hair is great alternative to straightening your hair with a blow dryer.

2) If you must blow dry, start at the ends and then go to the roots. Apply a nozzle to quicken the straightening process.

3) Do not overprocess the hair with relaxers or texturizers. If your African American hair already has chemicals on it, such as a relaxer, do not apply more chemicals, such as hair dyes and rinses.

Your hair can grow and you can have great, beautiful long hair. For best results, use products such as Beauty 4 Ashes A Double Portion products (wwwdiscoverb4acom) or Aubrey Organics (wwwaubreyorganicscom).

A protein conditioner for breaking hair combines wheat and rice proteins to improve strength, shine and manageability. Excellent for reducing breaking or repairing damaged hair, conditioners formulated with silk proteins have become the “hottest” compliment to any hair regimen to add body, infuse moisture and increase tensile strength.

Hair that is extremely dry and damaged tends to be more brittle and is more prone to breaking easily. This is essentially because damaged hair signifies that the cuticle of the hair is chipped or cracked. In severely damaged hair, the cuticle could even be completely worn off, causing the hair to become weak and brittle.

Some of the factors that cause hair to become damaged and break easily include:

    * Over exposure to the sun
* Washing hair too frequently
* Combing or brushing hair too vigorously
* Over use of styling products such as dyeing, perming lotions and straighteners
* Excessive use of heating appliances such as curling irons, straightening irons and blow dryers
* Exposure to the chlorine in swimming pools or even swimming in salt water
* Hereditary

In certain instances it is possible to reduce the damage done to your hair by wearing a hat when going out in the sun and by wearing a swimming cap before diving into the water for a swim.

There are also certain products available that are especially formulated to make the hair stronger, softer and less brittle. These products contain a blend of ingredients that help strengthen the follicle, coat the cuticle and repair split ends. Protein conditioners are most effective as they help hydrate and strengthen the hair, making it less brittle and less prone to tearing, frizz and breakage.

Protein conditioners that contain a combination of wheat, rice and corn proteins help strengthen the follicles and improve root health. This gives the hair better body and shine while reducing split ends and breaking. When added to conditioners, amino acid will help to rebuild each strand of hair so that it grows as healthy as possible.

Will My Hair Really Stop Breaking?

When your hair is infused with protein it becomes much stronger and also more manageable. The stronger your hair is and the more manageable it is, the less breakage you are likely to see. A protein conditioner for breaking hair are easily available and are a far more viable option than getting regular salon treatments.

Are you suffering from black hair breakage? Do you want to find ways to solve the problem so your hair can grow to its fullest potential? If so, this is the article for you. I’m going to tell you the main reasons why your hair is breaking and what you can do to fix the damage.

1. Split ends are the beginning of the end when it comes to hair breakage. Splits weaken the hair and tend to travel up the hair shaft making the problem even worse. Unfortunately, the only way to get rid of them is to cut them off. Just remember not to take off more than you have to. Don’t buy into the ‘regular trims keep splits at bay’ myth. Trimming often (when you don’t need it) only makes your hair shorter than it has to be.

2. Getting your hair chemically processed more often than every 8 weeks leads to severe over processing. This sets the stage for a breakdown in the integrity and elasticity of your hair, leading to weak spots that are prone to snapping under the slightest pressure. Give your hair at least 8 weeks to grow out (10-16 is even better) before you get a chemical service is healthy hair is your goal.

3. If a single chemical process can be really bad for your hair, imagine two at the same time can do. Double dipping with chemical processes is one of the worst things you could do to the health of your hair. Never, ever color and relax your hair at the same time. Do your tresses a favor and stick with one process at a time.

4. Combing, brushing and styling a lot will lead to black hair breakage because of excessive friction, pulling and tugging. Only handle it when you have to and when you do, don’t overdo it. Your hair might look strong but in reality it’s very fragile and should be handled with care. Treat your hair like a piece of silk to get the best results from your hair care efforts.

5. If you like to wear your hair down, no problem, just be aware that it’s probably one of the biggest reasons why your hair is breaking. Leaving your hair out makes it prone to snapping and tearing because it gets caught in your clothes, jewelry and other objects. By wearing your hair up and off your clothes in protective styles you save it from the harsh environment and drying air that sucks the life out of it.

6. If you’re not using a great set of products, and using them often, you’re making your hair more likely to get weak and damaged. Locking moisture into your hair is the key to keeping it as strong and healthy and possible. Be sure to use a moisturizing shampoo, conditioner and deep protein treatment 2-3 times a week for the best hair strengthening results.

Dry, weak and brittle hair are prone to breaking and require a conditioner for breaking hair developed to repair protein structure and infuse moisture. Sun-damage, hair coloring, chemical treatments like straightening, relaxing and perms, and heat-damage from styling, deplete hair of moisture and break vital elastic protein cellular connectivity.

Hair that is prone to breakage, or dense, can break more easily when exposed to environmental factors and repeated styling. To repair damaged hair and restore and replenish proteins, a conditioner for breaking hair should be a vital part of your hair care regimen.

The “Root” to solving Hair Breakage

Sorry for the pun, but increasing strength and infusing hydration are the two primary keys to restoring hair health and prevent further damage. Hair is made of proteins, and the amino acids, vitamins and nutrients which convert or support the building of proteins come from our diet or dietary supplements - vitamins. To build strength, hair requires a variety of vitamins to maintain health, B12 vitamins being the greatest provider of nutrients.

Some minerals, nutrients and amino acids come from our diet. Omega 3 amino acids, which are known to lead to healthier hair, come from many fish such as salmon or mackerel. Many nuts are high in Omega 3’s and other amino acids as well. Maintaining a proper diet that provides proteins is a big help in strengthening your hair.

Stying isn’t all its “cracked” up to be!

Sorry, again. Together with proper nutrients, moisture and hydration are the number one culprits of breaking hair. Frying your hair - or worse, steaming - is the surest and quickest way to strip follicles and the root of moisture. Heat breaks-down cell structure and moisture, and, generally 5-8% moisture content is needed to maintain hair growth cycles and ensure adequate elasticity. Chemicals and chemical treatments burn and restructure the line-up of the shaft’s cells.

Though for many of us styling is a daily ritual and may be second nature, repeated styling, excess hair product usage and perms or relaxing can take its toll. Especially as we age and our skin and scalp lose the ability to retain moisture, sebaceous glands secrete less sebum (hair oils) and hair becomes more fragile. A of couple seconds under a scorching dryer is all it takes for some pretty intense damage.

So, be careful when styling. Many blow dryers now have cold-shot options and temperature regulation - so, you can avoid overheating. Similarly, flat irons and curling irons now use tourmaline coatings and discharge negative ions that leave hair protected while adding a smooth, controllable shine.

Protect and Prevent

The watch-word to avoid hair breakage is to ensure you have done your part to not only strengthen, but treat your hair to retain silkiness and reduce breaking. Many hair care products have a conditioner for breaking hair that includes Emu Oil or Panthenol to moisturize the scalp and follicle shaft. To repair damaged hair, it is necessary to look for products that also have protein or botanical complexes.

Rice protein and corn protein are two of the most effective protein active ingredients because they target different objectives. Rice protein is capable of penetrating the shaft and supplements the bulb and root by strengthening and aiding to rebuild damaged hair. Corn protein focuses on protection and adds shine and smoothness to the follicle. Each have different molecular weights and different jobs.

Weak, brittle and dry hair are prone to breaking, especially with repeated styling, treatments or lack of nutrition. Coarse, dense and very curly hair often lack moisture due their molecular structure. The combination of lack of moisture, styling and hair biology can lead to excessive hair breakage. Reducing intense styling, eating right, supplementing your diet with hair vitamins and using a conditioner for breaking hair can help repair damage follicles, protect from snapping and add shine and manageability.

Hair breakage is ultimate agony for those who go through it. Every combing action snaps some of it making it a stark reality that the hair needs to be taken care of even more. There are several ways you can put a stop to the breakage. However, it is a very delicate part of your body, you should bring in regularity to your hair care routine, without regularity, it is as good as care not taken.

Here are some things you can do to avoid hair breakage:

   1. If you take regular perms or style your hair for long hours with your dresser, you should try and avoid these heavy treatments. You can also try and keep it natural as possible. Regular perm treatments can dry these out making them brittle.
2. Hair dyes too make your them brittle, try and use those which are enhanced with natural vitamin E and protein; these also need to be ammonia free. However, however good the quality of hair color, yet it would end up drying and making your it brittle. You may need to use color regularly to hide grey or to keep your look intact; however, you can strengthen hair through other means like massages and diet.
3. Massaging your hair regularly, with oils like the coconut oil, almond oil, aromatic oils like the jasmine, etc. can help rejuvenate and grow stronger. For best results, you should warm the oil slightly and use it to massage gradually at the roots. When massaging your hair your fingers should do the clockwise motion on the scalp, apply negligible pressure to your hair roots. In case of those who have very brittle hair should try and apply the oils without letting hair get tangled between fingers. After massage try and tie your hair so these do not rub on rest of your body and make you look oily.
4. Your diet needs special mention; your hair cannot grow healthy without a good diet. Therefore, you should ensure your diet contains proper portions of protein, calcium and vitamins, all these are an absolute necessity. Milk and eggs are two best foods which can boost growth and make your them thicker.

Hair breakage is common today, with busy schedules it becomes very difficult for people to take care of their looks. However, sparing 10 minutes every 3-4 days for a small massage can go a long way in preserving your natural beauty.

People with brittle hair should also take that they do not shampoo their hair everyday, if they do have to it is important to do so with mildest of shampoos, containing natural ingredients. Shampooing everyday can make your hair lose its natural oils and nutrition. Try and limit shampooing only 3 times a week. Also try and massage your hair with oil the night before you shampoo, ensure you remove oil from during shampoo.

With proper diet and hair care, you will notice breakage reducing considerably and it growing stronger as time passes.

Have you ever had a natural hair style planned and hair breakage ruined it? One week, about a year ago, I had a defined and curly twist-out style planned for a Friday evening. So from Tuesday, I set my fro in twists to avoid frizziness or droopy curls.

When Friday came, I took out my twists and fluffed them out, but somehow the style did not look right. There was an area of my head that was not as full and thick as the other side. So the entire twist-out style was ruined. Ergo, Plan B: forced updo! That’s right. The breakage forced an updo style: an unplanned updo. Instead of rocking my fro, I was rocking my bobby pins.

Wearing an updo should never be a plan B, but your choice.

So, after my night of bobby pin adjustments and having a mini press conference answering questions from friends, (the number one question being, “How does your hair look when you wear it out?”) I went home and analyzed this thinning area and noticed a couple of issues.

1) My edges were raggedy.

2) There were bubble-shaped spaces within my hair strand.

3) I also noticed splintered hair as if my strand was bent in half, ready to snap off.

I could not believe all of these occurrences were located on one area of my head. Yet, dermatologists definitely know about these three causes of breakage which I call the trifecta of damage: trichoptilosis, trichorrhexis nodosa, and trichoclasis.

What is trichoptilosis? Hint: Your natural hair will look grossly uneven when you straighten it out with this problem

Trichoptilosis, also known as split ends, is an extensive loss of the cuticle leading to fraying and splitting at the ends (Whiting & Dy, 2006) This splitting is caused by many factors. Knowing what these factors are will hopefully prevent a plan B from occurring and allow you to prevent and deal with breakage before it starts.

• Weathering, which is the result of “wear and tear,” affects the ends of the hair. This occurs in normal and damaged hair and is aggravated by “excessive sun, wind, washing, hair styling, friction, traction and chemicals.” (Whiting & Dy, 2006) The cuticle layers are a key player in breakage.

• Chemical trauma also causes split ends. (Dawber, 1998) This can include coloring, permanent waving, or hair straightening (Scott, 1988). Any trauma that lifts, removes or damages the cuticle layers can cause this type of breakage.

• Physical Trauma such as vigorous combing (like using the blow-dryer comb attachment to stretch hair straight), or brushing can cause split ends. For example, when researchers want to recreate the effect of split ends for experiments, they vigorously brush the hair to create the splits. ( Dawber, 1998 p. 251)

Treatment and Prevention of Split Ends = Freedom to Choose any Natural Style You Want

A trim or haircut will remove the damage of split ends. Yet, future handling has to involve gentle care and a suspension of harmful grooming techniques (Scott, 1988).

You should be able to wear whatever style you want. Breakage should never get in the way of the thickness, growth and curl of natural hair.

So hopefully, at the next press conference, I’ll only have to address the following question: “How did you get your hair so gorgeous???”

Coming Soon: Part 2 of this article: Next stop on the Breakage Train: Trichorrhexis Nodosa

Hair breakage is the tendency of your hair to keep breaking whenever you comb or wash or try to pin it up. This happens because your hair has become weaker or has become brittle. Breaking can result into sloppy, lusterless and uneven hair. It can affect the way you look severely.

Here are some reasons why hair breakage occurs:

Hair breakage is normal during some activities like bathing, during this time is quite possible for your to get caught up in a tangle and break. However, weaker ones break often and quite regularly when doing a simple action like combing. For this condition these are possible explanations:

    * Excessive use of chemical based shampoos: Your shampoo may not be detergent based, yet it could have the ability of weakening your hair as and when you shampoo especially if you have been using this shampoo for sometime now. Excessive shampooing causes your natural scalp oils to deplete. This makes your hair dry and causes them to break.
* Brittleness always because of dryness. If your job requires going out in the sun at all times, it is possible it has become brittle. Also braving harsh winds or very cold weather can make your it dry and lackluster. Dry hair is more susceptible to brittleness.
* Sickness is another reason for weak hair. If you have been unwell for sometime it is possible that you have lost nutrition. Good diet and time will get you back to normal.
* Hair breakage also occurs to normally especially among those who tie their hair very tight or comb these rigorously. This can also lead to a lot of damage.
* Using hair color can be damaging. In fact, most people have reported either loss or dryness. If you have to use, it is best done on a rare basis. These colors though created with utmost care are chemicals and have the ability to damage after prolonged use.
* Blow drying and regular use of hair dryer too can make it lose moisture. Whenever you have time let your hair dry off normally so it will not lose moisture with warm air coming from the dryer.

Damaged hair can reflect badly on your personality. You need to try and find the cause of breakage so you can immediately put a check on it. If you require you can carry out a check of the products you use. If you want to avoid normal hair breakage, it is necessary that you keep your hair tied down (not tightly please)!

We will discuss the pattern of female hair loss, some treatments that are available and some general tips to curb or stop hair loss.

Female Hair Loss Patterns

Female pattern baldness is different from male pattern baldness. Females experience an overall thinning of the hair and loss at the crown of the head or where they most often part their hair. This occurs for reasons such as aging, illness, or hormonal changes among other things.

Treatments for Female Hair Loss

Rogaine (minoxidil) for Women is a product made for women because of their unique needs. It is effective but it may be longer than 8 weeks before you begin to see results. There are other products available such as sprays, medication, and shampoos.

Natural supplements are available especially for women and may include ingredients such as herbs, vitamins, and minerals. Natural products are safer, have very few side effects, and are less expensive than prescriptive treatments.

Many women use wigs, hair extensions, or weaves to give the illusion of a full head of hair. Hair pieces should not be stitched to the scalp as serious infection and scarring can occur.

Tips to Prevent or Halt Female Hair Loss

For women who have longer hair, many tend to tie it back or put it into a ponytail. Done often enough, hair can weaken and break off. Pulling it back too tightly or wearing it up can also cause hair loss or breakage.

When medium to long length hair is washed, there is a tendency for it to get tangled. Many women comb through the knots pulling and tugging the comb through the hair. Hair breaks and can be pulled out. It is best to use a conditioner when washing hair to reduce tangling.

Too frequent washing and blow drying of the hair will also cause hair loss. It may be noted at first in the amount of hair that is in your comb or brush when you groom your hair. Blow drying your hair too often is also detrimental to hair health and can cause hair loss.

Conclusion

A woman’s hair is or can be her crowning glory so losing hair is very upsetting. Caring for your hair by not washing your hair or blow drying it too often can help reduce hair loss. There are other causes such as illness, stress, hormones, and nervous habits like pulling on your hair or rubbing your scalp. It is important that if you’re female hair loss becomes a problem for you, talk to your doctor to see what things you can try. Most hair loss can be halted or even reversed.

SYSTEMIC AND METABOLIC DISORDERS
GENETIC PREDISPOSITION
LIFESTYLE and HABITS
1. SYSTEMIC AND METABOLIC DISORDERS:

. High fever, severe infection, severe flu:

Sometimes one to three months after a high fever, severe VIRAL infection or flu, a person may experience hair loss, this is usually a temporary self limiting condition.

. Hyperthyroidism and Hypothyroidism:

Both increase and decrease in thyroid hormone levels can result in hair loss. This is corrective post surgery or after medical treatment for attainment of a euthyroid state.

. Chronic ailments:

Severe prolonged ailments can result in hair loss which is sometimes reversed upon recovery.

. Alopecia Areata:

This is caused by an autoimmune reaction to hair follicles as if they were antibodies and shutting them down. The hair loss is usually limited to a coin sized area and all the hair in the area is lost leaving a totally smooth round patch.

In a more severe rarer condition called Alopecia Totalis, all hair on the entire body is lost, including the eyelashes. Treatments include topical medications, a special kind of light treatment, or in some cases drugs

2. GENETIC PREDISPOSITION:

Genetics do play a role in instigating as well initiating hair loss. It is an important cause and has to be ruled out before beginning treatment.

3. LIFESTYLES:

Certain kinds of people are more prone to developing hair loss than others. People who have continuous stress are more a victim of this than others. Diet that is deficient in vitamin A and Zinc is an important cause as well as personal habits like over use of scrunchies and hair products.

A lot of people have this misconception about hair loss, believing that it only happens among men. However, female hair loss is actually just as big an issue as male hair loss. Studies have shown that men and women experience the same thinning hair problems.

But there is a difference though, which is the pattern. The male baldness pattern involves a receding hairline that is pushed further and further back, eventually making them appear bald. As for women, the hair loss is generally distributed all over the scalp.

When it comes to finding the real cause of female pattern baldness, the factors are varied. Unlike male baldness that is normally caused by genes, hair loss in women actually happens for different reasons. However, there are also women who are suffering hair loss because of heredity. Aside from blaming one’s genes as a reason for thinning hair, major hair loss causes generally include stress, medication, pregnancy, strong hair chemicals and hormones.

For the most part, if women experience hair loss because of these factors, then there is nothing to worry about, as eventually the hair will simply grow back, once the situation is under control. Sadly though, there are also cases where medications are the only solutions to the problem.

Hair restoration surgery is perhaps the last resort when female hair loss is no longer controllable. But if the situation can still be handled, then there are thinning hair solutions that may serve as great alternatives to surgery. Rogaine and Propecia are the only restoration solutions duly approved by the Food and Drug Administration.

These products are actually effective for men, but only Rogaine is proven safe and effective in treating hair loss in women. Additionally, a restoration system is also another practical alternative for hair loss treatments in women. These solutions include weaves, extensions or wigs.

Although this is not a permanent treatment, most women suffering from hair loss achieve temporary relief with these hair replacement systems. On the other hand, health experts firmly believe that some women experience hair loss simply because of a lack of vitamins, particularly iron and Vitamin C.

For hair that is thinning, some shampoos are also suitable. What these shampoos do is simply eliminate unwanted particles in the hair follicles. Female hair loss is basically a very common problem among women. But women should not worry too much about losing their crowning glory. After all, there are so many solutions available today to cater to such concerns.

A free audio gift for preventing hair loss awaits you at Mike Selvon portal site, where you can enrich your knowledge further about female hair loss.

Hair is a person’s crowning glory especially for the female population, which directly links the sense of beauty to hair. Thus, it is a nightmare for any woman to wake up each day and realize that they are losing significant strands of hair.

For many years, countless women have been complaining from thinning hair and ultimately, hair loss. More doctors and dermatologists are receiving patients that are mostly concerned about baldness.

Hair loss is more of an alarm to women than to men. It is because it is a common and obvious knowledge that men are more prone to hair loss especially as they grow older. It is even associated with the aging process in men.

But for women, it is an entirely different story. Female hair loss is practically a serious concern because it does not happen unless there is a physiological problem within the female body.

Statistics how that about 25 million women in the United States alone are suffering from anxiety caused by hair loss. The number seems to be rising. There is also a rising volume of such a problem in other parts of the world.

Genetic problem

Readily, several experts would easily blame hereditary factors for the female hair loss. However, through the countless studies that have been conducted through the years, it is found that female hair loss is not primarily caused by genetic inheritance.

It is found that there may be chances that a woman who has a bald mom will never be bald when she gets older. There is a lean chance that female hair loss can be passed from parents to offspring’s.

So if that is the case, what are the causes of female hair loss?

Hormonal imbalance

The most scientific explanation for female hair loss involves hormonal imbalance. The female hormone, the estrogen, is involved in many bodily function within the female body.

If estrogen levels fall below the optimal levels, supply of nutrients to the hair follicles would be greatly affected and the hormone would not secrete necessary enzymes to help maintain hair.

Thus, women who are in post-menopausal stages are complaining more about hair loss occurrences. That is because when a woman enters the menopausal stage, the secretion of estrogen within the body is altered and reduced.

Thus, such a hair loss occurrence is linked to aging because menopause period for women occurs when she enters the late adulthood phase, usually at the age of 50 years and above.

Women who are not yet in their menopause period can still experience hormonal imbalance if they regularly take contraceptive pills. Be informed that contraceptive pills also involve the secretion of estrogen, making its levels less optimum for potential pregnancy.

Childbirth, anemia and blood toxicity

Women are more prone to experience hair loss after they have given birth. That is because the process of childbirth is so tedious and nutrient-consuming that several minerals and vitamins in the female body are depleted.

Anemia can also be indicated by hair loss in women. Iron deficiency is the main culprit, which can also affect the quality and volume of the hair.

Other medical medications can pose threats to the woman’s crowning glory. Cancer patients who undergo chemotherapy would expectedly suffer from hair loss. Fortunately, for most cases, hair is restored after complete recovery.

Surgical operations would cause hair loss, especially in women. It is estimated that about two to three months after a serious surgical operation, some hair would have to be lost. This is part of the body’s coping mechanism to the stress and pain suffered.

Hair care deficiencies

If the female hair loss is not caused by any of the above, it would certainly be caused by improper and inadequate hair care regimen.

When using hair products, it is imperative that the women pay particular attention to the chemical composition. There are several shampoo brands that trigger hair loss due to its harsh contents and ingredients.

Moreover, there are some hair treatments and styling products that greatly damage the hair and scalp, causing the hair to rapidly fall and a thin out.

It is advised that before subjecting your hair into any kind of treatment or aesthetic product, you should first consult your doctor or dermatologist to find out if the product is really safe and is fitted for your hair type.

Also make sure any new product is approved by the US Food and drug Administration to ensure overall safety.

Combing and frequent bathing would also contribute greatly to hair fall in women, so be very careful when doing the tasks.

Hair is important to women as much as beautiful skin is important to them. Thus, it is imperative that women pay extra attention to the needs of their hair and be very careful when using any new product.

Female balding, hair thinning or hair loss on women can be a great source of problem. In fact, this can be quite devastating. It creates such a huge negative impact on a woman’s self confidence. It is a common problem because there are many women suffering from it. Depending on the severity of the problem and its cause, the condition is treatable.

Causes

It has always been associated with the male individuals. However, a lot of women are experiencing this problem because of too much hair styling. You can say that women cannot just leave their hair alone. They’d dye it, wash it, brush it and bleach it to an unhealthy extent. Unconsciously, they are damaging their hair in an effort to make it beautiful. Fortunately, for many women, female pattern baldness resulting from these activities can be treated. They only need to adopt healthy hair habits - avoid restrictive hairstyles, curlers, too much heat and harsh chemicals.

Other causes are improper nutrition, hormonal imbalances, medications and stress. The problem can also result from surgeries. Even women who suffered a bout of high fever or flu complain of female pattern baldness. Women also experience it after child birth. These conditions, however, when treated or changed would also treat the female pattern baldness problem.

Some women suffer from this permanently. This kind of condition is serious and does not respond easily to treatment. It becomes permanent when the bases of the hair roots are weak. They cannot “hold” hairs for long. This is often the result of an excess sebum production. The growth of new hairs is blocked by the sebum. Treatment of a permanent of this condition is hard. It could take months or years and there are people who do not respond at all to treatment.

Half of the female population would suffer irreversible hair loss because of aging. Hormones and genetics could also play a significant role in causing this problem. This is the condition commonly referred to as female pattern baldness. Its onset is at the age of 25 to 30. The bald patches would start at the top of the head. The most common cause of female pattern baldness is androgenic alopecia where hormones caused women to shed more hairs than usual.

Remedies for Women

Women have several treatment options. They can opt to take medications. The Food and Drug Authority (FDA), however, has not approved many medications for hair loss treatment. There are, however, non-drug commercial treatments that women can resort to. There are women who are wary of drugs or commercially sold products. These women would opt for natural hair loss treatments instead. Nutritional changes can also play a huge factor in treating the problem.

Improper diet can cause havoc to your hair growth. To treat the condition, you should increase your vegetable intake. Sprouts, soya beans, nuts, yeast and wheat germs are great for hair loss treatment. Make sure that you also get enough iodine foods to stimulate proper blood circulation.

Stop hair loss and obtain the best hair loss treatments & products today!

Hair loss is one of the most common problems, and also the most difficult to tackle. While healthy hair indicates good general health, hair loss can be an indicator of a deeper internal health problem. Hair loss in women has been attributed to several factors till now: stress, lack of iron or anemia, condition of the scalp, condition of vital internal organs like the kidneys, liver, thyroid etc., emotional disturbances, menstrual problems, illness or lack of essential vitamins and other nutrients in the body etc.

Hair loss generally indicates a deficiency in vitamin B1, vitamin C, lysine and iron. Vitamin C’s antioxidant properties help to make skin and hair healthy by aiding body metabolism, and converting fat and carbohydrates into energy. It helps in the development of healthy collagen that binds tissues together. Hence it is effective in preventing breakage and split ends. Vitamin C is present in good quantities in Citrus fruits, strawberries, pineapple, tomatoes, green peppers, potatoes and most dark green vegetables. A daily dose of 60 mg is recommended for good health. Vitamin B1 or Thiamine aids in protein building and thus makes the hair healthy, giving it volume, shine and a good texture. This is ensured by providing nutrition to the scalp. Other vitamins that help to prevent hair loss in women are: other Vitamin B complex vitamins like Biotin, Inositol, Niacin and vitamin E.

Minerals like iron, zinc, magnesium are also effective in preventing hair loss. The most common food-based sources of these vitamins are: citrus fruits, green vegetables, fruits like pineapple, strawberries, kiwi, potatoes, green peppers, vegetable oils, soybean, raw seeds, dried beans, wheat germ oil, brewer’s yeast, whole grains, eggs, liver, rice, milk, fish, turkey, chicken and red meat. Other products found to be efficient in combating hair loss are Saw Palmetto, nettle root, pumpkin, gotu kola, eleuthero, Uva-Ursi, Muria Puama and others.

There are hundreds of products in the market today that promise to prevent hair loss. These products are generally prescribed by experts though some over the counter drugs are also available. There are companies that specialize exclusively in the production of hair loss drugs. Information about these products is also available on the Internet on the websites of these companies. However, it is better to consult a physician to know the exact cause of hair loss before using any of these products.

Hair Vitamins provides detailed information about hair vitamins, hair and nail vitamins, hair growth vitamins and more. Hair Vitamins is affiliated with Baldness Solutions.

An itchy scalp with hair loss is a common topic on many scalp condition and hair loss forums. It’s very common to wonder if the two are related, which came first, and which (if either) is perpetuating the other. The answers are important because this will determine the course of treatment and action.

Some Common Causes Of Itchy Scalp With Hair Loss: There are several situations and conditions that involve both scalp and hair. Sometimes, medical issues (hypothyroidism, going off of birth control pills, pregnancy, female or male pattern alopecia, or taking certain medications) can cause hair loss. In these cases, scalp itching, tingling, tenderness, or even pain can sometimes accompany a bunch of hair follicles dying off at one time. Sometimes your scalp will also itch when the hair is growing back. This is normal and once whatever the issue causing the hair loss is resolved, this should stop. In the meantime, you can use natural, non harmful anti-inflammatories like tea tree or jojoba oil to soothe inflammation and help with the symptoms.

Sometimes, though, there is a dermatological problem with the scalp that is also causing the hair loss. In these cases, the two are often strongly correlated and related to one another. So, in order to treat the hair loss, you’ll need to also treat your scalp and restore it to a healthy condition and vice versa.

Common conditions that cause both scalp itching and hair loss are: scalp ringworm; a yeast or other infection of the scalp; severe dandruff; dry scalp; psoriasis; cradle cap; or an allergic reaction to shampoo, hair products, hair dyes, or clothing detergent. (Sometimes even skin cream or make up that never even touches the scalp can cause problems in sensitive people.)

Treatments For Scalp Itch Accompanied By A Loss Of Hair: The treatment will depend on how severe the scalp condition is. Many feel it’s best to try the most natural, least irritating treatments first.

If you’re having problems with your hair and scalp, you have to realize that the skin is in essence injured. Pouring chemicals and harsh irritants on a wound can make it worse. If you take a careful look at the labels for many dandruff shampoos and scalp treatments, you’ll likely notice that some of the common ingredients in these products are known irritants that can damage and dry out your scalp further and do more harm than good.

Why Natural Alternatives Are Sometimes Preferred Since Chemicals Can Irritate Sensitive, Wounded Skin And Make The Problem Worse: Sometimes harsh products are only a temporary band aid that will eventually lose their effectiveness. When this happens, you have to keep pulling out bigger, harsher weapons (sometimes even steroids) to get the same results. Over time, nothing seems to work.

Believe it or not, there are natural ingredients that can very effectively soothe and treat a problem scalp with or without accompanying hair loss. Common examples are tea tree oil, apple cider vinegar, rosemary and lavender oils. These are even more potent in specific combined amounts.

Sometimes it’s hard for people to believe that simple, natural remedies can be both effective and healthy for your scalp and hair, but I believe that if you try them, you’ll likely be pleasantly surprised. Think about other cultures with beautiful, healthy heads of hair that lack many of the scalp disorders and diseases of Western countries. These folks likely wouldn’t dream of dousing themselves with chemicals, yet they don’t suffer these issues and their hair reflects this.

Treating The Shrinking Root Of The Problem: There are common triggers for scalp conditions. These vary from person to person, but if you can find and eliminate yours, this will go a very long way toward reducing the problem and making treatments much more effective and long lasting. Reoccurring scalp and hair loss conditions can shrink and cripple the hair follicle over time contributing to weak, compromised, thin hair so it’s important to fully but gently address all issues.

Whether you have a scalp rash or your scalp is very itchy , it can be frustrating and make you self-conscious. First of all, it’s important to see what the features are of the itchy scalp problem. Does it itch but have no rash? Are the red spots near your ears predominately? Do you have itching on other parts of your body or is it just on your scalp? Are you experiencing hair loss? Is your whole body skin area dry and do you experience dandruff and skin flaking?

There are several conditions that can cause a scalp rash, dry scalp itching, scalp flaking or hair loss. Let’s review a few:

1) Ringworm: Ringworm of the scalp or tinea captis is a fungal skin infection. It needs to be treated as it can spread and it can cause hair loss that does not grow back. It can be crusty and scaly in patches. The patches can be circular and have raised edges. If the problem is severe oral medication. However, often for typical cases a shampoo that contains selenium sulfide or zinc pyrithione is prescribed., Depending on the extent of the ringworm, the physician may recommend an over the counter anti-fungal for the scalp.

2) Head Lice: Lice can spread easily around schools and many schools will send out a notification if a child in the class or school has been diagnosed with head lice. There are one percent creams available that contain permethrin. This is used to treat and control the problem. The insects don’t have wings. The nits (or eggs) can often be seen in the ear area or neck below hair.

3) Eczema: This is also called seborrhoeic dermatitis. Some attribute this to yeast growth. If you notice additional patches on your elbows and needs you may have psoriasis. These can be a darker color. Dandruff is a form of seborrhoeic dermatitis. A scalp problem due to seborrhoeic dermatitis can afflict teens going through the hormonal changes just as the t-zone on the skin can get more oily and develop acne issues.

Determining the cause of the scalp rash is the best way to figure out treatment. Try to avoid scratching the head to prevent exacerbating the problem or causing any bacterial infections.

A balding itchy scalp can be a difficult thing to endure. The hair loss can be sudden, and the accompanying itch can drive you mad. What can you do to treat an balding itchy scalp problem, and are there any natural remedies to take care of, and cure it?

Is A Balding Itchy Scalp A Normal Part Of Pattern Baldness?

An itchy scalp is not a symptom of male or female pattern baldness (the most common natural form of balding and hair loss. The fancy medical name for this is Androgenetic Alopecia. Pattern baldness is currently understood to be mainly a genetic and hormonal problem due to androgens particularly an androgen called dihydrotestosterone (DHT), and is not seen to be accompanied by an itchy scalp.

This could be good news as in most cases of balding itchy scalp, the hair loss is only temporary and not permanent. So by treating and curing the itchy scalp condition, your hair should eventually grow back.

Therefore, if you are suffering from a balding itchy scalp it could be one of the following:

Ringworm (tinea capitis) - this is a particularly aggressive and contagious fungus that can produce symptoms like red, itchy burning patches on the scalp, hair loss and if left untreated can lead to cicatricial alopecia, i.e. permanent hair loss.

Ringworm requires some pretty tough treatment to clear it up and I would recommend you see your doctor or dermatologist for advice on this. Most prescriptions involve a medication like miconazole, clotrimazole or similar ingredients. There are natural antibiotics available that can be used to tackle this nasty fungal infection.

Psoriasis is an extremely common condition, and psoriasis of the scalp can lead to temporary hair loss. It is normally identifiable as white scales on patches of very red skin, severe itching and temporary baldness on the affected areas.

Natural Remedies To Treat A Balding Itchy Scalp

First thing to do is look at your shampoo and bathing habits. Have either of these changed lately? Are you using a new shampoo? Have you recently had your hair dyed or been to the hairdressers?

Often times the beginnings of scalp reactions and infections can be traced back to the products we put on our hair. Look out for harsh chemicals that dry out your scalp like Sodium Laureth Sulphate (SLS) - as this will only serve to aggravate your balding itchy scalp problem.

Try using a shampoo containing Zinc Pyrithione (the natural stuff, not the synthetic one). This is commonly used as an anti-dandruff ingredient, as it has very strong anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties.

Home remedies that make use of birch or avocado oil are extremely effective in soothing and healing psoriasis.

Natural essential oils such as Tea Tree, Rosemary, Lavender and Manuka are superb at treating balding itchy scalp problems and can even stimulate hair growth. Combined with a scalp massage they can alleviate the symptoms of balding itchy scalp.

Itchy scalp hair loss problems often are the result of excessive oil secretion form the scalp - sebum. Sebum acts to help coat and protect the follicle shaft and provide nutrients and minerals while adding smoothing lubrication.

Associated with all follicle pores, the sebaceous glands can become overactive and lead to oily hair and scalp. Considered a primary cause of dermatitis, excess sebum can lead to inflammation, itching and flaking. Itchiness is often caused by bacterial build-up and be accelerated by styling, dirt and styling product residue.

Allergic or sensitive reactions to shampoo, conditioners, chemical treatments and environmental factors can increase itchiness and localized redness and irritation. Dandruff, flakiness, scalp bumps and even sores can develop - eventually leading to thinning or hair loss.

More severe signs of loss may be the result of scalp psoriasis, ringworm or may be the result of physical tension as a result of tight braiding and “traction alopecia” - keeping the hair bound or styled tightly. Extended tension can cause irritation resulting in itchy scalp hair loss problems.

Remedies for itchy scalp hair loss problems focus on two primary concerns. One, reducing or regulating sebum production (oil), and two, soothing and healing the scalp.

A shampoo for itchy scalp is recommended to slow or regulate oil. Zinc is known to help slow and temper oil secretion and help cleanse oily scalp. Combined with botanical extracts that are less irritating to the scalp, you can deep clean dirt and product residue accumulation while increasing blood flow, circulation and nutrient delivery to the follicle root and cuticle.

Common herbs used in hair loss products include Sage, Thyme and Fenugreek and have been shown to help in the regrowth process while avoiding irritation and inflammation. When used with Zinc or Zinc PCA, sebaceous glands can be regulated and oil production reduced.

To soothe itching and help heal the scalp, Panthenol, Jojoba Oil and Emu Oil are used to penetrate the scalp and act as an anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial compound. Emu Oil has been used extensively in hair loss products and skin care for its ability to penetrate the dermal layers and help soothe itchiness, flaking, redness and irritation.

Used in conditioners for itchy scalp, these ingredients help promote healthy hair, while adding fullness and body to thin or thinning hair. Used in conjunction with an oil regulating shampoo, you can get viable remedies for itchy scalp hair loss.

Itching, flaking and scalp bumps may be the sign of something more severe and might require the care of either a dermatologist or trichologist. However, many itchy scalp hair loss issues can be effectively addressed by shampoos and conditioners formulated to clean the hair, regulate sebum, and soothe and condition the follicles and scalp.

Shop HairEnergizer for itchy scalp remedies, hair loss products, vitamins for hair growth, and shampoos and conditioners for faster growing hair. Address itchy scalp hair loss problems with itchy scalp shampoo and natural products to soothe the scalp and reduce irritation, flaking and redness.

Itchy scalp hair loss is a common problem and the treatment you require depends on the relationship between the two problems. You will need to discover whether you are dealing with hair loss as a result of itchy scalp or whether your hair loss is causing your scalp to itch. It is therefore vital you quickly get it diagnosed as to which problem you are dealing with.

Hair Loss as a result of Itchy Scalp

With this scenario your hair loss is from a medical condition, is usually temporary and may be caused by one of the following conditions:

Psoriasis - This condition can result in temporary baldness and can result in severe itching, often identified by white patches on red skin.

Scalp Ringworm - This can be a contagious fungal infection. The skin can become red with itchy rash like patches and requires some tough treatment.

Allergic Reaction - Many shampoos contain harsh chemicals that can damage your hair follicles and cause an allergic reaction resulting in an itchy scalp and possible hair loss.

Before undergoing any type of remedial treatment always seek a Doctors opinion on what condition you are dealing with. This will give you the best chance to sort out the problem quickly.

Itchy Scalp As A Result of Hair Loss

Your Itchy scalp could be a side effect of losing hair as old hair follicles die. If this is the case you could look into hair loss rejuvenation products or natural healing ointments. There are many different types of products to choose from ranging from natural remedies to more potent treatments.

One thing is for sure. Itchy Scalp and hair loss is a distressing time. The quicker you get your problem diagnosed by a Doctor the quicker you can begin the appropriate treatment.

I discovered my itchy scalp was because I was losing my hair, not because of a medical condition. Click Here to discover how I got rid of my Itchy Scalp Hair Loss. A hair loss solution that helped me re-grow my hair and rebuild my confidence.

Hair loss caused by an itchy scalp can be extremely frustrating and worrying for anyone, and if left untreated can cause permanent hair loss and baldness resulting in conditions like cicatricial alopecia where the hair follicles are permanently damaged and the hair may never grow back.

It is therefore imperative that you get your condition looked at and diagnosed as soon as possible by a qualified professional, to halt the hair loss problem in its tracks.

In saying this though, there are many natural remedies and essential oils that have been used for centuries by numerous civilizations to soothe, treat and cure itchy scalp and hair loss problems. What’s better is that you can make these remedies in the comfort of your own home, using cheap and readily available ingredients.

These natural remedies are seeing a revival in modern times as more and more of us lose faith in the large pharmaceutical companies, and we become aware of the growing amount of evidence that shows that perhaps these huge corporations don’t always have our best interests at heart. I’m not saying they’re all bad, just that sometimes the so-called “modern” medicine can’t see the wood for the trees.

Well, that’s my rant over with! Now, I’d like to show you the top 3 essential oils that should be an “essential” part of any itchy scalp hair loss first-aid kit. If I were going to be stranded on a desert island and could only take 3 things with me, then these would be it…well, maybe some sun tan lotion too!

Please note that essential oils are normally highly concentrated and should therefore always be patch tested prior to application, in case of any allergies or irritation. Always consult your doctor prior to using any remedies or essential oils if you are pregnant or on specific medication.

Top 3 Essential Oils For Itchy Scalp and Hair Loss

Lavender Oil

This wonderful smelling oil is great at fighting off the nasty dandruff fungi, itchy scalp, burning sensations and even lice. Highly popular in aromatherapy, it’s relaxing smell and anti-inflammatory properties make it one of my faves.

It is particularly effective at stimulating hair growth when combined with other essential oils, like Rosemary.

Rosemary Oil

This fantastic oil should be a part of your hair regrowth arsenal. With a strong woodsy smell, this oil is used extensively in aromatherapy treatments as it can increase concentration and eliminate boredom when inhaled - particularly useful when studying for an exam.

When massaged into the scalp, it can moisturize the skin, stimulate hair follicles and cause the hair to regrow. It’s excellent as an anti-dandruff and itchy scalp remedy too, clearing most cases fairly quickly.

It is particularly good if you naturally have oily hair.

Jojoba Oil

This is an excellent oil for controlling dandruff and moisturizing your scalp if it has become dry. It mimics your skin’s own sebum and is therefore great for hypoallergenic skin. Easily absorbed into the scalp it helps remove deposits of sebum from the hair follicles and nourishes the scalp with B & E vitamins and iodine. If you are suffering from seborrheic dermatitis, eczema or psoriasis, and they are causing your itchy scalp hair loss, then remedies containing jojoba oil can be very effective at neutralizing the problem.

These 3 essential oils are best used when combined with others, and by using a carrier oil which will help to somewhat dilute the potency of them and also make a larger amount of your natural remedy. Discover the right way to use these essential oils in Itchy Scalp Hair Loss Remedies by going here

Itchy scalp and hair loss are fairly common problems that are sometimes distinct problems in themselves, or one can be the cause of the other.

Hair loss can be particularly difficult for the sufferer to deal with, especially if she is a woman - this is not to say that it’s not difficult for male sufferers, but many women would identify their femininity with their hair. Also, hair loss can occur at any time in a person’s life, it is not restricted by age.

Finding the right natural remedy for itchy scalp and hair loss will often depend on what the symptoms are, but there are a number of general good practices that you can begin to get in to which can greatly help the itchy scalp hair loss problem.

Check and Change Your Shampoo

In many cases an itchy scalp and hair loss will become aggravated and worsened by continual use of harsh oil-stripping shampoos. What may surprise you is how many of the so-called “soft and sensitive” shampoos contain strong industrial strength de-greasing chemicals.

By choosing a natural shampoo - ideally containing Zinc Pyrithione in its natural form, which is a great anti-fungal ingredient and can be effective for treating itchy scalp conditions such as Psoriasis, and Sebhorreic Dermatitis - you can begin to stop the irritation on your scalp and return the skin to its normal pH balance.

Essential Oils

Adding essential oils like Tea Tree and Rosemary to your shampoo will cleanse and soothe the skin, while Lavender will stimulate hair growth. (Please patch test all essential oils prior to use, as some people have certain sensitivities or allergies to natural oils).

Jojoba - great for treating seborrhea, eczema, psoriasis, or dandruff. Jojoba (pronounced ho-ho-ba) oil has been used for centuries by Mexicans and Southwestern Native American nations to promote hair growth and the control of dandruff. It’s a great moisturizer and mimics the scalp’s own sebum. It absorbs readily into the scalp and helps remove deposits of sebum from the hair follicles, neutralizes acidity, and nourishes the scalp with all the B vitamins, vitamin E, silicon, copper, zinc, chromium, and iodine.

Aloe Vera - used by Native Americans, Indians and many in the Caribbean to promote healthy hair and prevent hair loss. It can help the scalp by healing it and balancing the pH level while cleansing the pores. A common preparation of Aloe Vera gel with a small amount of wheat germ oil and coconut milk is used as a shampoo and has traditionally shown great benefit.

Massage

A vigorous rubbing of the scalp with fingers after washing the hair with cold water can help to stimulate hair growth. The scalp should be rubbed vigorously till it starts to tingle with the heat. By doing this you activate the sebaceous glands and energise the circulation of blood in the affected area, which can encourage the hair to grow back. Be careful with this technique if you have a very sore scalp or any broken skin, as you may aggravate your condition. Also, take care to avoid causing unnecessary damage with your fingernails. If you have long fingernails you can perform the massage using your flattened palm.

Finding out the cause of your itchy scalp hair loss is essential to finding the right treatment.

Itchy scalp and hair loss can be very frustrating and worrying, and there can be a number of factors which cause or aggravate the hair loss. The hair loss caused by itchy scalp problems is not always permanent, and will often grow back once the main itchy scalp problem is sorted out.

In saying this though, it is vital that you take swift action to properly diagnose the problem and search for suitable remedies and treatments in order to avoid long term scarring from the itchy scalp irritation, and thus enable your hair to begin growing back.

Here I’d like to tell you about a few common reasons for itchy scalp hair loss and what you can do to alleviate the problem.

Folliculitis - strong ingredients in shampoos can damage hair follicles and lead to infections such as folliculitis.

Symptoms are normally small, white-headed pimples around one or more hair follicles. Deep folliculitis will often result in larger painful red boils.

If left untreated the folliculitis can significantly injure the hair follicle resulting in localised areas of scarring and bald patches where there are no visible follicles; this is known as “cicatricial alopecia”.

Antibiotics are often used to treat folliculitis, but as with all antibiotics they can lead to a resistance to the antibiotic used. Natural remedies containing Tea Tree Oil or Lavender Oil can be extremely effective in treating the itchy scalp hair loss of folliculitis, particularly in the early stages, and can help to stimulate hair growth.

Ringworm of the scalp (tinea capitis) - a superficial fungal infection of the scalp. It is caused by mold-like fungi called dermatophytes, and the symptoms include red, itchy patches on the scalp, hair loss and, if left untreated, can also lead to cicatricial alopecia.

The skin might peel or scale and be red and itchy, with swollen blisters or a rash (that can spread) that appears as black dots.

The rash, being highly contagious, is normally treated with over the counter products containing miconazole, clotrimazole, or similar ingredients. Sometimes prescription medications are needed to clear it up.

There are many natural products that can be used to aid the healing process and act as natural antibiotics, but it must be stressed that ringworm is an aggressive fungus requiring close monitoring and appropriate treatment.

Psoriasis - said to affect some 2.5% of the US population (about 7 or 8 million people) psoriasis is a fairly common, non-contagious skin disease in which the skin cells replace themselves too quickly and cause red lesions covered with scale to appear.

Scalp psoriasis is said to affect at least half of all psoriasis sufferers and is characterized by white scales on patches of very red skin, often accompanied by severe itching and possibly temporary baldness on the affected areas.

Using a shampoo containing zinc pyrithione (in its natural form) can be extremely effective at combating psoriasis and itchy scalp hair loss in general, as it has very strong anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties.

Home remedies using birch or avocado oil are also extremely effective in soothing and healing psoriasis.

Seborrhoeic dermatitis - similar in appearance to eczema (Atopic Dermatitis), this is an inflammatory reaction to the proliferation of a yeast called Malassezia (or Pityrosporum Ovale). It produces toxic substances that irritate the skin. This yeast is always present on the scalp in small numbers and feeds on the natural oils produced there.

Imbalances in the levels of oils (sebum) on the scalp, (often due to harsh shampoos, conditioners and hair dyes) can cause the yeast to multiply and grow, resulting in dry redness, flaking, itchy scalp and sometimes cause temporary hair loss. The flakes of skin are normally characterized by a yellowish colour and oily texture.

Since the dermatitis is generally caused by the use of harsh shampoos and the stripping and drying out of the scalp, it is advisable to use a shampoo containing only natural ingredients like Tea Tree Oil which will not only help to fight the infection but will control the yeast and condition the skin, as well as maintain the natural pH balance of the scalp. Adding Rosemary Oil to the shampoo can work wonders, in addition to using simple home remedies containing Manuka or Tea Tree Oil, as well as Lavender to stimulate hair growth.

There are many simple remedies for itchy scalp hair loss that you can make in the comfort of your own home.

Everyone suffering from a hair loss condition is in search of that fantastic way to regrow their hair back to normal. Have you found this to be the case with yourself?

You should know that you can do it and it’s a lot easier than you may think it to be. You just have to use the right treatments for you that are proven to deliver real results. Now what most people do is grab the latest product they’ve seen advertised on television.

And of course their are a lot of them to choose from. Those testimonials really can seem very believable, especially when you’ve been losing hair for some time.

Natural Hair Loss Treatments & Their Help

I want to tell you about a few natural hair loss treatments worth your consideration. Now a lot of people will automatically dismiss the power of these things to deliver more hair. Don’t for a second think that just because it’s not the popular way to go about restoring hair that it’s not effective.

This is just the reason why many are not getting their hair back. So first you should definitely analyze the types of shampoo you’re using. If you’re using any that contain Sodium Laureth Sulphate, you’re already doing damage to your hair.

The reason you should avoid this chemical ingredient is because it’s actually a degreasing agent used in garage floor cleaners and engine degreasers. But to go even further, over 90% of haircare products, mostly shampoo, contain this ingredient to help lift trapped dirt and oil.

An effective routine you can use that will help lift trapped dirt and oil involves the use of olive oil. Apply about a teaspoonful of it to your scalp where it is thinning. Leave it in overnight, and then rinse out in the morning.

Along with following this natural hair loss routine, be sure to use shampoo that only contains natural healing ingredients. The good ones to look for will contain green tea, saw palmetto, and even tea tree oil. All of these work well to restore hair and prevent further loss of it.

Hair loss is a problem that many men and women suffer from. I suffered from hair loss for several years until I decided to do my own research and find a way to grow my hair back. One of the things that helped me to fight my hair loss was increasing the amount of fruits and vegetables that I ate.

Eating fruits and vegetables is very important because they contain many of the essential vitamins and minerals that are necessary for promoting hair growth. Some of the vitamins that eating a variety of fruits and vegetables can provide you with are Vitamin A, vitamins from the B family, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin E and Vitamin K. Some of the minerals that one can obtain by eating a variety of fruits and vegetables include calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium and zinc.

It is extremely important to eat several servings of fruits and vegetables everyday because many of the foods that people eat on a regular basis do not contain the essential hair promoting nutrients mentioned above. The reason for this is most of the foods that individuals consume these days have been heavily processed, altered from their natural state to increase shelf-life. When foods are processed, they lose many of the important vitamins and minerals that they contain. It is also important to keep in mind that the fruits and vegetables should be eaten when they are ripe or fresh because in this state they are easier to digest, and, as a result, less taxing on the body.

Vegetables are probably best consumed as a part of your three core meals of the day: breakfast, lunch and dinner. For breakfast, one option that I have found to work well is an egg white sandwich with lightly sauteed bell peppers and spinach. The egg whites are a good source of protein, which is also essential for hair growth, and the bell peppers and spinach provide a solid serving of vegetables to start the day.

For lunch and dinner, there are many more options available. Most cuisines (i.e. Greek, Mediterranean, Chinese) offer dishes that contain meat, rice and a couple of servings of vegetables. One of my favorites is the chicken platter offered by many Mediterranean restaurants. The platter at the place where I often go contains a serving of chicken breast, rice, mixed salad and yogurt.

This meal is excellent in terms of the nutritional value that it provides. The chicken breast and yogurt are excellent sources of protein. The rice is an excellent source of carbohydrates, which provide us with energy to make it through our day. The mixed salad consists of an assortment of vegetables, which contain several of the essential vitamins and minerals that are necessary for hair growth.

Fruits are probably best consumed as a snack as they are very convenient to eat. Some of the fruits that I eat are apples, peaches, plums and strawberries. After working out, I also prefer to have a fruit smoothie because they are great energy boosters and help me to recover quickly from a very strenuous workout. I also include milk in my smoothies to have another source of high-quality protein in my diet. The variety of fruits that I eat as a snack and include in my smoothies ensures that I receive many of the important vitamins and minerals that are required to promote hair growth.

After several months of increasing my consumption of fruits and vegetables, I noticed that on areas of my scalp where my hair was thinning, the hair had started to become thicker, and on areas of my scalp where I had lost my hair, I could see gradual hair growth taking place.

As a result of improving my diet, my body was able to receive the nutrients that it needed in order to promote hair growth. These changes do not require a lot of time to implement; they simply require a strong desire to live a healthier lifestyle.

You will find that regrowing your hair naturally is one of the safest and easiest things you can do. Many people look down on all of the natural remedies and ways to do this. Below you will discover some great tips that will assure you do this successfully.

How long have you been struggling with thinning hair? It’s without a doubt that you are among the millions of people who have probably used every single hair loss product imaginable. Nothing seems to work nowadays when it comes to regrowing hair and preventing hair loss.

It’s no surprise that many just give up and deal with their receding hairlines and other forms of baldness. You don’t have to do this. It doesn’t require a hard fight once you know the ropes. Here is one truth regarding why a person loses hair that you should do well to heed.

A lot of times you will hear people say that you lose hair because it’s totally hereditary and can’t be stopped. They say it’s in your genes. Well really this is only partly true. There are things that have to do with our genetics that can cause us to lose hair, but it’s not the determining factor.

You see most of us lose our hair because of having a high level of DHT within our bodies. DHT is a hormone that leads to hair loss by binding to hair follicle receptor cells. When in high levels, it literally starts to make your hair thinner and thinner.

You can easily stop this by taking various herbs that actually naturally block DHT. One popular one is saw palmetto extract. Taking this herb daily like you would any other vitamin or mineral supplement will certainly keep DHT at bay.

Drinking green tea each day also works excellent. It’s one of the newest discovered ways to stop hair loss and block this hair loss causing hormone.

You will find all sorts of information circulating the internet and elsewhere about what can cause you to lose your hair. However you need to be aware of some that are definitely causes of thinning hair.

First let’s address some of the lies that are being spread by the media and other so-called ‘know-it alls’ who really know nothing about the underlying causes of a thinning hair condition. You will hear all sorts of tales such as ‘if you wear a cap too much you will lose hair’, or ‘washing your hair too much will result in you going bald’.

Don’t be fooled by these things. They are just myths being spread by those who are too paranoid to understand that people lose hair for legitimate reasons. Here are a few below:

1.) Prescription medications

2.) Lack of blood circulation in the scalp

3.) Lack of vital nutrients for hair growth

4.) High levels of the DHT hormone

5.) Hormonal imbalances

6.) Stress

7.) Heredity

All of these are your various causes for losing hair. You probably wondered why on earth is number seven concerning heredity crossed out? Well like some of the other myths circulating the globe, heredity isn’t a definite cause for losing hair.

I know it sounds strange and hard to believe, but consider this. Scientists now know that male and female pattern baldness is linked to a hormone called DHT. This hormone binds to your hair follicle cells and weakens them till they die.

Everyone has this hormone present in their bodies, the only difference is that those with healthy growing hair have less of it. Hair loss sufferers the total opposite. You must learn to control this hormone if you ever plan on getting your hair back and keeping it.

Understanding hair loss symptoms is one of the best ways to figuring out how you can combat it. Granted there is no guaranteed cure as of yet, but getting to the root of the problem could help you in your quest to getting back that full head of hair. Below we have established the common hair loss symptoms and why they eventually take their toll. Hopefully this information can educate you a little more.

Inherited Hair Loss
While many people already know about inherited hair loss, there are certain things to look at regarding it. Many times you can gauge the family traits just by going to a family reunion. If it runs in the family, many times you will notice that your male pattern baldness will end up the same way as a relative. Even if you are just starting to see it disappear, knowing what is to come could have an effect on how serious you take this matter.

Alopecia Areata
This occurs when you start seeing patches of hair falling out. Unfortunately it isn’t anything you have done personally, but instead an immune system issue. See, when your hair follicles are attacked in this manner then the loss of hair is imminent. The bad news is this usually happens at a younger age and usually before someone reaches the age of twenty. The good news is your hair grows back most of the time within the first year. However, it could be white and very thin.

Stress and Trichotillomania
Trichotillomania is a condition and compulsive disorder. It happens when someone continuously pulls on the hair. This is one of the hair loss symptoms that is due to extra stress put on an individual. It can happen because of work, the home life, a traumatic event, or several other scenarios. On occasion you can end up with broken pieces of hair, seeing your eyebrows thin, and of course the patches.

DHT Issues
Many people experience hair loss symptoms like DHT. This is where your hair does not get the nourishment needed to continue growing, which is blocked by DHT itself. There are many products out there that claim to control it and even reverse the affect it has on your hair, and they have grown even more effective over the last few years.

Solutions to the Symptoms
Hair loss symptoms can occur in the blink of an eye. You may even find that it started slowly at first, but over the last few years the intensity has risen tremendously. Sure there are many medications and methods you can try to do, but in the end you may end up wasting your money. Can you imagine if there was a way to re-grow hair that would have a 100% positive result?

Going through some type of hair loss problem or another? You can rest assure that it’s not too hard or impossible to thicken your hair fast.

You can easily see more hair growing and end thinning hair without ever having to worry about using commercial hair loss thickeners or products. Sounds a bit too good to believe, but it’s not hard and it’s really within your reach right now.

Chances are you don’t have a lot to spend on hair loss products, nor do you even care to waste your money or risk your health. Often times hair loss treatments of all sorts, especially those involving solutions, pills, and creams, cause side effects.

This is why many are turning to natural tips that help them thicken hair and regrow it.

Tip #1 : The first tip for ending hair loss and obtaining thicker hair is to avoid Sodium Laureth Sulfate. What is this you may wonder? It’s a degreasing chemical used in shampoo to lift trapped dirt and oil.

The only problem is that it leads to hair loss and will soon thin your hair out with continued use. Aim for natural haircare products such as those containing healing ingredients.

Tip #2 : Eat more nutritious foods that contain hair-growing minerals and vitamins. Yes you need certain vitamins for healthy growth functions in the body, but you also need some for the healthy growth of your hair.

All vitamins do not benefit the growth of your hair. Go for the use of biotin, vitamin B, vitamin C, and even ginkgo biloba as an aid to restoring the natural growth of your hair.

Tip #3 : Fight off DHT. DHT is a hormone that’s produced in the body by an enzyme. Once you have high DHT levels, then you can pretty much kiss your hair goodbye. A great way to fight this off is to drink four cups of green tea daily.

There are only but three tips that will help you. What do you think you could do if you had your hands on hundreds of them?

Not many people are successful in regrowing their hair. Many resort to the use of expensive creams, pills, and other hair loss treatments. Really though, there are only three simple steps required to regrow hair and stop further loss of your hair.

In order to regrow hair and stop hair loss, you need to do the following below:

1.) Discover what’s causing your hair to come out.

2.) Apply a few simple tactics to regrow your hair

3.) Avoid commercial shampoo

Just by putting these three simple tactics to good use, you will effectively regrow your hair and maintain it. So now let’s examine each of these three more closely so that you can be back in the barbershop or beauty salon in no time.

First you need to discover what’s leading to your hair loss. Many people believe that heredity is the main cause when in reality it’s usually not. I know it sounds farfetched, but scientists have discovered that baldness in 90% of men and some women is due to a hormone.

This hormone is given the name dihydrotestosterone and is sometimes called DHT for short. Now what DHT does that’s so bad is bind to your hair follicle cells. It stays attached to your cells till they eventually become very weak and die. Of course you know what the end result usually is when this happens.

So it’s obvious that you’re going to have to find a way to block this hormone. There are several methods for doing this but if you’re wanting to go the cheap way, I would suggest taking saw palmetto extract as part of your daily supplement routine.

Also too avoid any shampoo containing Sodium Laureth Sulfate. This is a degreasing agent placed in many shampoos to lift dirt and oil. The terrible thing about this ingredient is that it leads to a gradual loss of hair.

Baldness can be very distressing; even if you’re a man and baldness is considered normal it can damage your self confidence and stop you wanting to do anything. This would cause many people to visit your doctor; if you talk to your doctor then they might say that there is no way to cure hair loss.

Although there are prescription FDA approved medications for treating baldness, there are no methods to cure the condition completely. However there are a number of products available which claim to be able to help you cure your baldness problem.

One treatment is Rogaine; this is also known as Minoxidil and should be applied directly to the scalp twice a day. This medication is available over the counter without the need for a prescription. This is not considered as a baldness cure because you have to continue applying it every day, if you stop using this treatment then your hair will start falling out again. This product actually includes quite a lot of alcohol which has been used for quite some time to treat hair loss naturally.

Anyone suffering from baldness spends a long time searching for a cure. There’s a lot of money to be made out of these treatments, which is why so many manufacturers claim to be able to cure your baldness. It’s not a new thing to search for baldness treatments; they have been around for many years.

The ingredients used to create one of the first hair loss solutions were quinine, borax and alcohol. Some of these are quite dangerous and would never be included in baldness cures nowadays. People that made these products stood to make a lot of money.

Modern day hair loss treatments are very similar; however do not include some of the more dangerous ingredients. Most of these modern treatments are applied directly to the surface of your scalp using a damp flannel. The solution should be left on the head for a number of hours, or as directed and then rinsed off. These solutions work by reducing the levels of hormones in your body which cause hair loss. This will slow down the rate at which hairs are lots, and should mean that you have a healthy head of hair for longer

There are lots of different baldness cures available these days, which can make it difficult. Why are there so many if they really do work? If there was a cure which worked perfectly for everyone then that would be the only cure available, it would also receive a lot of press coverage.

The baldness cures available will normally only slow down hair loss rather than actually helping you to grow new hair.

While you might think you are doing everything you can to prevent and to treat hair loss, you may not be doing enough. All of the treatments and products in the world aren’t going to help if you’re not nourishing the rest of the body that’s attached to your scalp. You need to think of your baldness as something that can affect and can be assisted by other habits you have - like a poor diet. In addition to putting the vitamins directly onto your hair, you might also want to put a few in your mouth.

The B vitamin family is one of the main supporters of hair strand health. Niacin and Pantothenic Acid will not only boost the appearance of your hair, but they will also work to help your hair grow stronger and fuller. These B vitamins have been linking with stopping and preventing hair loss. You can find these vitamins in supplement form or in whole grains, organ meats, and egg yolks.

Antioxidants help to repair damage in the body on a cellular level, so it only makes sense that these would also help your hair grow stronger. Choose vitamins A, C, and E to help you promote shine as well as healthier hair follicles.

Biotin is a mineral which can help to produce keratin, which is one of the building blocks of your hair. By taking in this supplement, you will begin to encourage the hair to grow long and strong.

Inositol is another supplement that will help you work on your hair from the inside out. By helping the hair follicle work as it should, you can make sure the hair growth cycle doesn’t slow down.

Though it’s better to find these vitamins and minerals in your local grocery store, taking a supplement each day can help ensure that you are getting the maximum levels for hair health.

The best way to combat hair loss is by ensuring good health of the body as a whole. This is an achievable goal and can easily be attained by strictly monitoring what we take into our body which is our diet.

A good hair diet is free from harmful toxins with all the vital nutrients that are essential for one’s general well being. Therefore, in order to promote healthy hair, it is very important that we take in food that helps to enrich our hair - which is also known as good hair diet.

To ensure a good hair diet, the following food can be added to our meals: fish, liver oil, carrots, brewers yeast, citrus fruits, whole grains, egg yolk and green vegetables. These foods are sources of, vitamin A which is an anti-oxidant that improves the health of the scalp, vitamin E which enhances scalp blood circulation and pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) a vitamin that delay graying and loss of hair.

Citrus fruit is important to one’s diet not only as a supply for vitamin C, but also helps the body to absorb iron from non meat sources. A good hair diet would be one that is rich in protein as protein is a basic building block for hair, thus more protein in the diet will translate to stronger hair, less breakage of hair or split ends.

A good hair diet also has to contain lots of water. Water is a major component of the body and of hair. Water keeps the hair silky, soft and shiny. Water is also essential for flushing out of toxins that would otherwise affect circulation of the blood and slow down hair growth.

Silica in the diet is also important in preventing breakage of hair, and it can be found in foods such as potatoes, cucumbers, bean sprouts, green and red peppers. They are all rich in silica and should be incorporated into our hair diet.

Vitamin supplements can also be taken to stimulate the growth of healthy hair. It is important however to note that vitamins should be taken in doses as recommended by a medical doctor, because excess intake of vitamins can cause hair loss and be fatal.

Lastly, we also need to consider what kind of food that is entering our body. For a healthy hair diet, we need to avoid processed food, or food that has high sugar content, high amount of fats, raw food from unreliable source, and food with excessive salt content. We also need to avoid drinking too much alcohol, and smoking.

There are many people who find their hair thinning at an alarming rate. Some people are just starting to go bald while others want fuller hair. No matter the reason, the fact is that most of these people are looking for fast hair growth tips to help them get the hair that they have always wanted. Below are some of the tips that will help you get the hair you want in no time.

There are many things that can have an effect on how fast or how slow your hair grows. Some of these factors may include such things as your health, your diet, your environment, your hormones and the amount of stress in your life. Some people have been known to have their hair fallout from being under too much stress or from certain medical conditions or even from certain medications that they are taking. Many people also find that as they age, their hair will grow much slower. All of these factors will vary with each person.

You diet plays an important role where your hair is concerned. You need plenty of nutrients in your to help feed the hair follicles. If you are lacking in nutrition it can show up in the condition of your hair. For instance, when you’re sick your hair can look dull and flat. If you want your hair to be at its best then you need to be sure to have a well balanced diet. Be sure to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables that contain antioxidants that will help your hair grow quicker.

You should also incorporate foods rich in Omega 3 fatty acids as they can help to reduce swelling in the scalp. This will help increase the blood flow to the follicles, which in turn promotes hair growth.

Massaging the scalp daily can also help to promote more blood flow to the scalp for faster hair growth. Try to stay away from pulling your hair back in a ponytail or any other tight hair clip as this can damage your hair and irritate your scalp. You should also try to stay away from high heat things such as blow dryers and curling irons as the heat can damage the hair, making it brittle and cause breaking.

You want to stay away from over washing your hair and try not to use the shampoos that contain harsh chemicals as this can dry your hair out and remove the natural oils from your hair.

In order to keep a healthy head of hair, you need to be sure to eat right and take extra care with how you wash and care for your hair. You want to be sure to keep the blood flow open to the scalp so that your hair will be able to grow as it should. You should eat a well balanced diet and get the nutrients that your body needs. Try not to over wash your hair and stay away from harsh chemicals as well as coloring and perms. All of these things can do great damage to your hair and stop or slow down hair growth. Be sure to massage your scalp daily to improve hair growth with better blood flow.

What you eat doesn´t just affect your health, it will also influence the growth of your hair. Just like other parts of our body, hair also needs vitamins in order to be healthy. Taking certain vitamin supplements or eating certain foods can help you improve the health of your hair. You should be careful not to take too much of a vitamin as this can actually harm you and even cause hair loss.

The first vitamin that is needed for healthy hair growth is vitamin A. It helps you maintain the oils in the scalp. Foods containing this vitamin include milk, eggs, cabbage and spinach.

B Vitamins like B9, B6 and vitamin B complex are also essential for healthy hair. You can find these vitamins in food such as beans, soy and eggs. Vitamin B supplements can also be taken and may be helpful in certain cases of hair loss.

The vitamin called biotin is also good for your hair. Some use it to prevent male pattern baldness. You can find this vitamin in things like brown rice, soy, lentils and walnuts or in supplements.

While it is preferable to eat a healthy diet and just get all of your vitamins from food, in some cases supplements can be a more convenient way to get them. If you are interested in hair growth supplements you should try to only use vitamin capsules or tablets. Things like shampoos and oils are not as effective.

By looking around on the internet you shouldn´t have too much trouble finding hair growth supplements. Before buying them you should consult a physician in order to get the right product for your needs.

Hair loss can be something you are worried about. It is common for women too even though that seems to be kept more secret in our society. Some individuals experience hair loss due to genetics. It can also be due to the products you use on your hair or underlying healthy conditions. Getting to the root of the hair loss problem is important so that you don’t have to continue experiencing it.

There are some ways that you can naturally make hair grow faster. You want to avoid buying expensive products that promise you amazing results. You will just be wasting both your time and your money on them. Instead you want to turn to methods that are going to get your hair growing that will really work.

Stimulating your scalp is one very effective way to naturally make hair grow faster. You can do this each time you shower just by taking a few extra minutes to massage the hair follicles. It is believed this process is going to increase the amount of blood that gets to the hair follicles. You should use a hot oil treatment and a deep conditioning treatment every couple of months as well to keep your hair follicles healthy.

I healthy diet is essential for your body to have the nutrients it needs. You may not realize that those nutrients also help you to naturally make hair grow faster. If you don’t eat right consider adding more fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet. Eliminate bad carbs and processed foods. You will soon see a difference in your hair as well as your overall health.

You may find you need to take vitamin supplements in order to get the essential nutrients that you need. This is a very effective as well as affordable way that you can naturally make hair grow faster. You need to make sure you get your hair trimmed at least every six weeks. This will keep it healthy and growing. Many people don’t realize this since the hair grows from the top down. However, when you have split ends your hair will stop growing.

In order to make your hair naturally grow faster you need to take good care of it all the time. Pay attention to the type of products you use on it. Many shampoos and conditioners out there are simply too harsh for everyday use. Find the type of shampoo for your hair type as well. For example if your hair is dry use those with moisturizers. If your hair is colored use those especially designed to keep processed hair healthy. Swimming and the sun can also damage your hair so make sure you take extra good care of it in the summer time.

The most common form of hair loss in both men and women is androgenic alopecia (also known as androgenetic alopecia.) In males, this condition is known as male-pattern baldness because there is a well-defined pattern of lost hair — over time the hairline recedes forming the “M” shape. Hair does not only recede but also becomes thinner, often progressing to total baldness.

As the recent research found out, male-pattern baldness is primarily caused by the increased level of the hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT.) It is not yet completely understood how DHT affects the scalp but it is known that if a person is genetically prone to baldness, DHT may initiate the process of so-called follicular miniaturization. This process can begin as early as the end of puberty. Follicular miniaturization leads to hair becoming progressively thinner and thinner until it is completely lost.

How can hair loss be prevented and reversed?

The good news is that it is possible to prevent and reverse baldness. Since it is primarily caused by the excess amounts of DHT, the obvious solution is to decrease the level of DHT. This can be done using synthetic chemical drugs or natural treatments.

As for the drugs (such as Propecia or Rogaine), their effectiveness is not universally accepted. Also, being synthetic chemicals, they have many side effects, including gynecomastia (growth of breasts in males), erectile dysfunction, chest pain, blurred visions etc.

Are there any alternatives to chemical drugs?

Natural hair loss treatments are an obvious alternative to drugs. Their first advantage is that they don’t have any side effects. Second, such treatments as Saw Palmetto were used by men since ancient times. Would have anyone used it if it hadn’t been effective? Overall, I recommend natural baldness cures consisting of natural ingredients as the most effective solution to hair loss problems.

Men and women tend to lose their hair in different ways. Most men tend to have a receding hairline or perhaps hair loss in one particular area, while women will lose hair over most of their head. Although this is not the case in every situation, it is a general rule that is good to go by. One particular situation that both men and women can experience is the breaking of the hair, which is totally different than genetic hair loss. It is important for you to know whether you are losing your hair by the root or if it is breaking. If you are experiencing hair breaking and here are some hair breakage solutions to help you to get it under control.

One of the most frequent causes of hair breakage in both men and women is because of a weakened portion of the hair itself. Since hair tends to stay on the head for a long time until it grows out to the end, there are a number of things that could cause a particular portion of your hair to grow into a weakened state. Some of these causes could be over exposure to the elements, poor diet or perhaps hormonal changes in the body. If the hair that is noticeably missing from your head does not have a follicle, then it may be breaking because of one of these situations.

There are a lot of different products out on the market for hair breakage solutions that are available for personal use. These would include shampoos as well as other hair care products that are gentler than the standard ones that are picked up at the store. Because it may take some time for the weakened section to grow out of your head it may be necessary for you to continue with the hair breakage solutions that you choose for some time. There are also some natural hair breakage solutions that are available for you, including various oils, my favorite being raw coconut oil.

Hair Breakage Causes and What to Do About ThemHair breakage is both embarrassing and unsightly. Not only does it cause you to lose the hair that is on your head, it also creates a situation where you are unsure about when it is going to stop. If you are experiencing the breaking of your hair then here are the hair breakage causes that will help you to choose which solution will best suit your own particular circumstances. Often knowing what is causing the hair breakage in the first place will be a stepping stone to solving the problem so that you don’t have to be concerned with it any longer.

The hair that is on your head may be there for up to two years or more depending on the length. Because the hair is generally exposed to more of the elements in any other part of the body it also is more readily susceptible to problems from that exposure. It could be that at some point your hair was over exposed to the sun and that is where it is breaking. Hair breakage may also be because of poor diet. During the time that you were eating poorly your hair may have grown out in a weaker state. This would also cause hair breakage. Yet a third reason would be hormonal in nature. It could be that your hair became weak at a certain point because of hormonal changes experienced from menopause or pregnancy.

If you are experiencing hair loss because one of these reasons then you to treat your hair with kid gloves until the damaged section grows out to the ends. This will include taking it easy when drying your hair as well as washing your hair so that you do not further damage the already weakened. You may also want to consult with your hair care professional to see if there is something that will help to ease the hair loss associated with your particular hair breakage causes.

Losing your hair can be a very frustrating thing. Many people are predisposed to hair loss through such things as male pattern baldness. Other people had to be careful because her hair tends to break or fall out if it is mistreated in any way. Often recognizing the difference between hair loss and hair breakage is the first step in knowing what hair loss or hair breakage treatment to use.

Figuring out if your hair loss is due to breakage or falling out is actually rather simple. Hair breakage will be easily identified because there will be no follicles on the hair that has come out. If your hair is actually falling out of your head it will still have the follicle attached, even though it may be damaged. If your hair loss is due to breakage than here is the hair breakage treatment that may help you to overcome it.

Many people have used natural treatments for various things for their health. The hair would really be no exception. At times our hair may become brittle at certain points because of over exposure to the elements or perhaps poor diet. If this is the case then you will need to use some natural treatments as well as extra care until that hair position is allowed to grow out. Because it may take up to a year or more for the hair to grow to the end then this treatment may also need to be prolonged.

On of the best natural hair breakage treatment is use of raw coconut oil. You may expect that this will cause our hair to become really, but there will actually absorb a reasonable amount that will come out healthy and shiny. It is up to you to decide if you want use a lot prior to watching your hair or if you will be using a little before you dry it. You may find that a combination of these two will do the best for you and work as the best hair breakage treatment available.

There are a lot of different reasons why somebody might lose their hair. Some of the reasons could stem from being predisposed because of genetics and male pattern baldness. Some women can also fall into the same category, although it is not as likely. Another problem that may be causing your hair loss is the breaking of your hair. This is easy to detect and at times can also be easy to stop. Here are some methods of how to stop hair breakage and sometimes to prevent it before it starts.

A human’s hair is probably one of the most abused areas of the body. Not only is it exposed to the elements more than the other areas of the body, it also tends to receive a lot of abuse because of extreme washing and drying. Even though you may be taking care of your hair better than most people, it’s still does receive a lot of abuse at your hands. Depending on the length of the hair on your head, it may have been there two or more years by the time it reaches the ends. If, during that time, you have been exposed to a lot of sunshine or perhaps add a period where your diet is not what it should be, then this could affect your hair at that point. It would be more apt to break at that weak point than any other, so additional care should be exercised until it is allowed to grow out.

Many people have also found help for their hair breakage by using some natural treatments such as coconut oil. I know that we use coconut oil on our hair after we watched it and before we dry it. By the day after it is dried, it looks so good that it is as if a professional had done it. Try using this method in order to stop your hair breakage and to keep it from happening again because of weak points in your hair.

Little telltale signs such as split ends, easy breakage and inexplicable excessive hair loss can add up to bigger or costlier problems if they are ignored, hair experts say.

Each year, people spend hundreds of dollars on products and processes to make their hair look its best, but overuse and misuse can do more damage to hair than leaving it alone.

A lack of nutrients in the diet can contribute to hair discoloration or patchy hair loss. This is more likely to occur in poor countries, said Adrian Guevara, a dermatologist in El Paso who treats hair problems.

“The main cause of hair problems in our area has to do with the use of harsh chemicals and hair straighteners on hair,” he said. “In El Paso, this is what I’ve seen the most often.”

Some hair loss is normal because hair sheds, but excessive hair loss can be a sign of trouble.

Guevara said alopecia areata — an autoimmune disease that affects hair — is another cause of hair problems.

The number one problem affecting long hair is breakage, usually seen as shorter, fly-away strands, or split ends. From the moment you wake up to the time you go to sleep and even as you sleep, there are many factors that can lead to hair breakage. An ideal woman is often pictured to be a person with a slender figure with long hair. Hair has always been important for every woman because it somehow reflects their personality. Having long shiny hair can seduce a man, it can land a woman in a shampoo commercial, or get compliments from others. It can reflect a woman’s health and gives an impression that she is healthy, and that she is taking good care of herself. Of course, not all women would want long hair. It depends on their character, the weather, their lifestyle, and so on.

It is a difficult thing to lose your hair. Some of us lose it and never get it back, as in the case of male pattern baldness, while others have damaged hair that seems to break all of the time. If you are experiencing hair loss then it is necessary to determine whether it is from hair breakage or if it is coming out from the root. It is simple to be able to check this. You just examine some of the hair that is lost and see if the root is attached. If the root is not attached then it is a matter of hair breakage and fortunately there are a few things that you can do to stop hair breakage almost instantly.

The hair is one of the most delicate parts of her body. It is also a part of our body is exposed to the elements almost constantly. If you have long hair it could be that each strand has been exposed to the elements for over two years before it reaches the end. During that time it is subjected to everything from harsh washing and drying to perhaps even damaging curling irons. If you want to stop hair breakage permanently, then you must start now to treat your hair with the gentle touch that it deserves. What do you do until the partially damaged hair grows out to the end?

You need to treat your hair with some kind of oil that will help to restore it to good health. You can do this by using various treatments that are available at most hair care stores or you can even try using some raw coconut oil as many people have found that this helps their hair tremendously.

Discovering why your hair is breaking is the important part to be able to treat it. Treating it for the wrong thing would be as silly as changing the oil in your car when it needs new tires. That is why it is so important to treat the cause and not the symptom which his hair breakage.

Our hair is one of the most delicate parts of our body. It’s not surprising, then, that many people experience hair breakage as a form of hair loss. If you are having trouble with hair breakage then there are several things that you can do that will stop it right away.

What most people don’t realize is that their hair is on the head for a long period of time. Depending on the length of your hair, it could be up to two years old toward the ends. That is a long time for something to be exposed to the elements as much his hair is. It could be that it is breaking at such a point where it may have been weakened by being in the sun too long or perhaps even from poor diet. If that is the case with you, then you will need to treat your hair with something that will restore it until the bad spot grows out. Many people like using raw organic coconut oil on their hair as it seems to help it tremendously.

Another thing that can cause hair loss is by mistreating it. If you experience the majority of your hair breakage in the shower then you should consider shampooing and trying your hair with a much lighter touch. Remember that hair is very thin and can be quite brittle so treat it with kid gloves, so to speak. Many people have found that their hair breakage has stopped simply because they started shampooing and trying their hair with a softer touch.

It’s impossible to be able to cover everything that there is to cover about hair breakage in this article. There are many reasons why you might be experiencing hair breakage and each one of them will have its own particular treatment. Finding the right key to unlock that door is the most important part.
