Use filtered water when washing your hair. Sometimes, the levels of the chlorine are very high. It’s not good for our scalp and might cause damage on it. It tends to cause hair loss .

I am so scared. My hair is breaking really badly, but it never got that bad until 8 months ago. I believe it’s because of the chemicals. I would perm it, then after a while I would put extensions in it. I’m only 14, so I don’t have a job and my mom doesn’t care. Watching these videos is making me cry because my hair is really unhealthy and idk what to do. I was not willing to go natural because it was so short and damaged, so I keep braiding it with extensions and weaving it. HELP!! ;-(

I chopped the pieces off and style my hair back to curly until its long enough then I will go to a salon to flat iron…I won’t do it myself. LOL

Use a natural bristle brush or a paddle brush, and keep your eyes open for excess hair in the brush. It’s normal for a few strands of hair to appear in the brush but be wary if a small handful of hair is there after only a few strokes.
